As personal devices are taking up a much bigger ratio of our lives, we are also becoming less sensitive to the real emotions and experiences in the real world. In addition, the challenge of public hygiene from the global pandemic eliminates even more opportunities of close interaction, causing not only medical but also mental hazard to our lives.

With the help of advanced biological sensory and real-time updating databases, we aim to promote a positive social experience with sanitization in the real world. Simply by holding the handles, pressing the buttons, or making hand gestures, our products provide an accessible platform for users to communicate and interact regardless of concerns about virus contagion and potential sanitation threats. Viraser is fundamentally a virus eraser guarding your health and arousing your passion to socialize under a safe-guaranteed environment.

Inspired by the model of arcade gaming, even though the digital media were primitive, they indeed generated a more interactive experience for players as a collective group. With modern digital and bio-technologies, our goal is to develop open, shareable solutions elevated from the concept of arcade games to restore the intimate relationships among us without the obstacle of viruses.

EXISTING PRODUCT NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM (NINTENDO NES)

After developing a series of successful arcade games in the early 1980s, Nintendo planned to create a home video game console. Rejecting proposals for a more complex console, president Hiroshi Yamauchi called for a simple, cheap design that ran games stored on cartridges.

The NES was designed by Barr and Don James, who replaced the Famicom’s top-loading cartridge slot with a front-loading one with a flap to make it look more like a VCR. Retailers bought into the idea and the NES became a huge success.

PRODUCT PROPOSAL V-ACANCY -routinely / Sanitary care -Multi-media -Affectional Bonding / tactile Living in a world connecting with individual mobile devices.

It has been a while not spending time sitting around a tiny screen, either playing games or watching videos, and enjoying the companionship and family relationships connected by those gamepads.

Viraser is committed to bridging the distance of interpersonal communication and allowing people to return to the original close relationships under the premise of a hygienic environment. V-acancy was created with a home deck, which is also a multi-media projector, that connects wearable “controllers”.

Wearable controllers, as individuals own, can have several manipulations based on different conditions and working enviornment.

Social relationships(families, colleagues, classmates) are connected by those controllers. Buttons simulate the old gamepads and encourage each user to press. Multiple hand gestures can monitor manipulations in the control deck. Moreover, the way of assemblying such device in particular way helps users to meet sanitary conditions by employing UV-c disinfection technology. In that way, customers make body contact with no worries, and the sharing and interaction between users help transfer companionship just like the good old days.
