Welcome to the 12th edition of the Robinsons Mercedes-Benz magazine.

Writing on the wake of a new year, it’s already easy to see 2017 is going to be another year of expansion for the industry leading automotive brand, Mercedes-Benz.

Having welcomed the second family member in the E-Class relaunch, namely the E-Class Estate, just three months ago, we are now gearing up for the final segment of the redesign with the Coupé and Cabriolet variants set to launch in mere weeks.

Showcasing the Estate on page 10, it’s clear to see Mercedes-Benz advancing nature with the latest technologies now simmering across the range. The Estate welcomes many of the intuitive systems seen in the Saloon, including touch sensitive controls and automatic parking systems to name but a few.

Also marking a celebration for Mercedes-AMG, the high performance brand celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. Expanding its current product range to now include the AMG GT R and AMG GT C, amongst many other model enhancements, the portfolio continues to offer diversity across the board.

Launching the Mercedes-AMG 43 Series across further model variants, and introducing the most powerful E-Class known to the brand in November last year, namely the E 63, it’s certain to say that demand remains for high-performance cars.

Elsewhere in the issue, we congratulate the Mercedes-Benz Trophy Winners, who not only took first place at the National Finals held at St Andrews Golf Club in Scotland, but have also now secured a place in the World Finals.

An optional Heads-Up Display

projects a full-colour 21cm-wide virtual image that appears to “float” several feet in front of the windscreen. The high-resolution display places useful information, including navigation information, driving speed and much more, in the driver’s natural field of vision, with minimal “eyes off the road.” Further noteworthy features include ATTENTION ASSIST, which keeps the driver alert on long journeys and avoids drowsiness; and Standard Blind Spot Assist which keeps a virtual eye on either side of the vehicle.

The GLC Coupé cabin is both

intriguing and inviting. The wide console slips perfectly between sculpted front seats, controls are placed intuitively and displays meet the eye effortlessly. The Coupé also boasts chrome trim, privacy glass from the B-pillar backwards and visible tailpipe exhaust trim integrated into the rear bumper.

Striking 18-inch alloy wheels are standard on the Sport model, while the AMG Line upgrades to 19-inch AMG alloys and bold AMG bodystyling.

The interior offers impressive versatility, with a boot capacity of 500 litres with the rear seats up and 1,400 litres with seats down, whilst the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC boasts even more space with between 550 and 1,600 litres. In addition, the GLC features a lockable luggage compartment floor, extensive interior lighting, and an array of stowage throughout the cabin. Every surface conveys the richness you

expect from a Mercedes-Benz Coupé with the polished precision that’s promised by the Star emblem, from a sports car to an SUV. Offering a choice of muscular 4-cylinder diesel engines, the result is a potent blend of athleticism and efficiency. The GLC 220d 4MATIC, for example, not only accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 8.3 seconds, but also returns 56.5 mpg combined with CO₂ emissions from 131 g/km. The GLC 250d 4MATIC matches those efficiency figures, yet covers 0 to 62 mph in only 7.6 seconds.

The C-Class Cabriolet completes the range line-up

An exciting few months for Mercedes-Benz, the brand has celebrated further expansion of the C-Class range, as the Cabriolet variant arrived in our showrooms late last September. Already including a Saloon, Estate and Coupé - all with engines ranging from the superb to the sublime - the Stuttgart based manufacturer has now welcomed the final member, and to much success.

Marking the first time Mercedes-Benz has launched a convertible version of the C-Class, the newest model may be the last, but it’s certainly not the least.

The new C-Class Cabriolet positively radiates acceleration, courtesy of its diamond-pattern radiator grille, LED high-performance headlamps, long bonnet

and lowered suspension. With the top up, the fourseater Cabriolet is similar to the racier Coupé. 4MATIC All-Wheel Drive Master your environment

4MATIC is far more than just a standard all-wheel drive. Mercedes-Benz proprietary system ensures complete confidence, automatically adjusting your vehicle to allow you to drive across different types of terrain and road surfaces with no effort required.

Automatically adjusting should any of the four wheels begin to slip, power is sent to the opposite wheel – no matter which wheel. Even if three of the four wheels are effected, the fourth wheel will adjust to support your driving conditions, working to correct the drive and monitor your safety.

Twenty years on from the first design, the 4MATIC system was unveiled in 1987 on the W124 series (E-Class) four-door saloons and estate cars. Now, 14

having been meticulously engineered to enhance all characteristics of the driving experience, the current 4MATIC epoch is powered by a 7-speed automatic transmission working alongside other features inside Mercedes-Benz vehicles; such as ABS (Antilock Braking System), 4-ETS (4-wheel Electronic Traction System) and ESPÂŽ (Electronic Stability Program).

The 4MATIC system precisely manages the demands of each wheel. When driving in a straight line the all-wheel drive allows, all four wheels rotate at the same rate. Rounding a corner, however, forces the two outside wheels to travel a longer path than the inside wheels. That means the left and right wheels must be able to rotate at different speeds.

4MATIC

The intelligent 4MATIC system continually monitors the speed of each wheel to detect when it is turning at the correct speed, or not, in every situation. Usually, one thinks of mountainous routes and heavy off-road vehicles when talking about all-wheel systems. But, all-wheel drive also guarantees a more dynamic, more comfortable and thus, safer ride even in passenger cars and on normal roads. The new generation 4MATIC all-wheel drive system is available on B-Class, CLA and GLA ranges. Managing power in a fully variable way, the front or rear axle is adjusted based on road conditions. When conditions are good, the vehicle operates in front-wheel drive only, yet when conditions become challenging, power is rapidly channelled to the rear axle. As power is no longer needed, the rear drive is quickly deactivated to maximise fuel efficiency.

Compact and lightweight, the 4MATIC permanent all‑wheel drive system is one of the best performing systems currently available. Unique and always

on, depending on the model, it splits power 45:55 or 50:50 between the front and rear axles respectively. When the system detects that wheels are slipping, power is immediately shifted to the spinning slowest axle. This undeniably improves traction and vehicle stability across the C-Class, E-Class, GLC, GLE, GLE Coupe, GLC and G-Class range.

Created to preserve the premium dynamics and pure exhilaration of driving an AMG vehicle, the AMG Performance 4MATIC permanent all‑wheel drive system allows for power to split 33:67 between the front and rear axles respectively.

When conditions demand in a GLE 63 S, GLS 63 S or the allnew E 63 S the all-wheel system ensures safety by getting all four tyres to reach their maximum traction potential. Held in August last year, the 1859 Elizabethan-style mansion played the perfect host, welcoming guests to enjoy its long and winding drive before unveiling the impressive line-up of AMG models.

Glaring from behind the mansion’s iconic waterfall roundabout, the Mercedes-AMG GT stole the show with guests queuing to get behind the wheel and put its talents to the test. Constantly on the road across the two day event, the model stopped all in their tracks, roaring through the winding roads of Norfolk’s countryside, reaching 0–62 mph in 3.8 seconds.

Making an equally impressive presence, the all new C 43 Saloon proved a popular choice, evoking much curiosity with the new AMG engine series. Showcasing a striking brilliant blue Saloon, the new C 43 achieved 0–62 mph in 4.7 seconds, thanks to the 367 hp provided by the AMG 3.0 litre V6 biturbo engine.

An eye-catching design and a model full of innovative driving and safety technologies, the demonstrator offered a practical, yet commanding, solution to those looking for a bit more power on

the road.

Next in line the A 45 provided guests with the chance to experience the 4MATIC talents of the hatchback variant.

A truly sporty offering, the A 45 gripped the road through the wet conditions with a vengeance, clearly showcasing the talents of the all-wheel drive as presented

by Mercedes-Benz. Undoubtedly impressive, each test drive returned with words full of praise and, in some cases, complete surprise at the power felt in the smallest AMG offering.

Hosting a full spread across the model range, it’s not often the talents of the G 63 Station Wagon, CLA 63 Shooting Brake, GLA 45, C 63 Estate, S 63 Cabriolet and SL 63 are seen together. Yet the Performance Tour proved to be just that‌ Born out of passion for motor sports, the world of Mercedes-AMG dominated the roads of Norwich, displaying the power, delivery, handling and sound associated with the high-performance segment.

smart has announced its latest updates to the range, offering simpler trim designs to make the brand more attractive to all road users. Renaming the former ‘proxy’ model as ‘prime sport’, the updated trim strategy, which coincides with the launch of the BRABUS, now sees the range consist of the entry-level passion, followed by prime, prime sport and BRABUS sport.

The fortwo coupé passion now comes with a fabriccovered roof, creating an even more striking look. At the other end of the range, the forfour night sky prime and prime sport models come with an electric fabric opening roof.

The Next Generation of Electric Introducing the new smart electric drive

The new smart electric drive is making electric mobility more attractive than ever. Combining the agility of a smart with emission-free driving, the latest model offers the ideal combination for urban living.

Now in its fourth generation, following its original world premier in London over a decade ago, the pure battery-electric drive is now found across all three bodystyles, including, for the first time, the smart forfour.

Offering the only electric cabriolet on the market, and now the only car manufacturer worldwide to offer its entire model range with both combustion engine and battery options, smart celebrated its most recent debut at the Paris Motor Show late last year. Released across the USA and some parts of Europe, the UK is set to see the model arrive from September 2017.

Offering power for approximately 100 miles per full charge, the electric drive makes it the perfect car for urban use. Providing an on board charger, the new model

variant can be charged up in approximately 2.5 hours – half as long as its predecessor. And, from later this year, an optional extra also includes a new faster charger, which enables the model to charge in as little as 45 minutes.

In line with the rest of the range, smart’s driving characteristics remain as agile and lively as ever.

Available in a wide variety of colours and optional equipment, the new model makes it easy for the customer to personalise their smart whilst tailoring it to their needs.

Using an 81hp electric motor which injects through the rear, the smart electric drive transmits its power via a constant ratio to the wheels, whilst the powerful 160 Nm of torque is immediately available from standstill.

As well as the basic transmission mode, the driver can select ECO mode, designed for a particularly efficient driving style. In addition, the maximum speed is limited, the accelerator pedal curve adjusted and the recuperation level is

pre-selected. Furthermore, in overrun mode or when braking the vehicle’s kinetic energy is converted into electrical energy.

Featuring an additional dashboard instrument that now displays a power metre and battery status display, the model makes eco-driving a way of life. A step forward in hybrid technology for Mercedes-Benz, the GLE 500 e featured 7G-TRONIC Plus 7 speed automatic transmission, whilst offering drivers a sporty edge with brushed stainless steel sports pedals, AMG styling and Mercedes me services for all-round service.

Also welcoming the highlydemanded C 350 e Saloon and Estate variants to the show, the

Exhibiting for the second year, Robinsons Mercedes-Benz returned to Fleet Management Live, held at Birmingham’s NEC between 19th–20th October.

Presenting the perfect platform for the team to introduce the brand and business to Fleet Managers and HR professionals from across the country, the two-day event proved popular once again with many familiar and new faces approaching the team for information.

Forming Fleet News’ showpiece event, visitors were able to attend a host of networking opportunities, as well as joining in best practice workshops, seminars and advice clinics to ensure they were up to date with the latest industry news.

Particularly popular, the influence of Brexit was discussed in depth as businesses looked for possible signs of upcoming change, and how these may affect the fleet markets moving into 2017.

Mercedes-Benz of Kings Lynn showcases its finest collection at the Sandringham Game and Country Fair

Bustling with life, Sandringham Country Estate played host to the Game and Country Show in September, welcoming many to enjoy its annual showcase of the region’s finest countryside pursuits.

Joining the line-up for 2016, Mercedes-Benz of Kings Lynn enjoyed a busy two days, exhibiting some of the latest model releases and all-wheel drive variants available in the current portfolio.

Launching just weeks before the show, which was held between 10–11th September, the stunning C-Class Cabriolet stood its ground amongst many of the brand’s SUV giants. Offering total driving enjoyment with no compromise on comfort, it was easy to see why many enjoyed their first sneak 44

peek of the latest convertible model from Mercedes-Benz.

Showcasing the brand’s popular AIRSCARF neck-level heating system, and welcoming the automatic wind deflector AIRCAP which deploys a screen above the windscreen and both the rear seat headrests to stop draughts, the model was definitely a main attraction of the event.

Sitting beside the all-new GLC, the C-Class Cabriolet’s sporty exterior was easily mirrored by the first ever mid-sized SUV in the Mercedes-Benz collection.

A remarkable vehicle in its own making, the GLC enjoyed constant interest across the weekend, as the team were able to disclose its capabilities as a 4x4, alongside its impressive handling, finesse and agility.

Available with a choice of two four-cylinder diesel engines, each blending impressive efficiency with effortless performance, the GLC was certainly an eye-catcher for the game and country visitors, all of whom are used to the rough terrains of Cambridgeshire’s countryside.

With the GLC’s larger sibling, the GLE, the popular A-Class and the remodelled E-Class Saloon also on display, there was a Mercedes-Benz for every visitor… and more.

Elsewhere in the event, the busy arenas pulled in crowds from across the county, showcasing traditional countryside pursuits, a designated ‘World of Dogs’ arena and many other competitions throughout the two days.

As a brand, Mercedes-Benz places great emphasis on developing the confidence and relationship between the customer and the dealership. As an example when Mercedes-Benz introduced the My Service program, customers were given the ability to choose the option which best suits their needs. These options are Drop & Go, Lounge, Drive or Collect. The customer is able to select a date which best suits their schedule and book online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Another part to this process involved us removing desks from our service area, and replacing them with consultation pods. This meant no computer screen for the STM (Service Team Manager) to hide behind, just a relaxed open environment. Immediately at our

dealership we noticed the customer was more relaxed and engaged conversation more easily.

We then added the impressive Mercedes-Benz StarView video health check recordings which are emailed direct to the customer by the actual technician working on their car. This gives the customer the ability to see the condition of safety related items such as brakes and tyres. Again the customer has more confidence in seeing a worn tyre rather than receiving a telephone call from an STM and being told that the tyre is worn.

Mercedes-Benz is the brand that every manufacture aspires to emulate yet never quite do. This is because Mercedes-Benz never rests on perfection, it’s always reviewing its processes, learning from, adapting or improving on, but always staying one step ahead of the chasing pack.

What are the benefits of a Service Care Plan?

For me, the main benefit of Service Plans is that the customer is able to spread the costs of maintaining their vehicle, letting them know exactly how much a scheduled servicing costs will be. Mercedes-Benz also guarantee the price of parts and labour for up to three services. If the customer sells the vehicle they can pass any unused services to the new owner, so you won’t lose out if you’ve paid for your plan up front.

Why do you enjoy working for Mercedes-Benz?

I feel they are one of the most structured companies that I have ever worked for in my career. The brand has a wide and exciting product range that has a vehicle model suitable for everyone.

Mercedes-Benz of Peterborough hosts an event with a difference End of Season Event

It’s not often you see the likes of Harry Styles, Peter Andre, Idris Elba and Jennifer Anniston come together to celebrate the world of automotive. Yet Mercedes-Benz of Peterborough welcomed the VIP elite to its dealership late last summer… at least in cut out form.

Marking the retailer’s end of season event, customers were invited to a special weekend enjoying fine culinary delights, exclusive discounts and some of the best model displays seen throughout the year.

With an exciting secrecy placed around the four day affair, the showroom was closed to the general public whilst black out curtains covered all windows ensuring that only those who had registered at the event were granted access to the unique experience.

Entering through a red rope-lined tunnel, guests were greeted by a

dedicated host before enjoying an exclusive one-to-one session with the sites’ Executives. A unique opportunity to talk openly about their desires and needs from a car, the display of vehicles and extra stock available across both new and used variants enabled most to discover their dream car.

Speaking after the event, General Sales Manager Richard Wheeler said: “We’ve received some very positive comments from customers who attended the event, all of whom sang its praises as a well organised and enticing weekend.

“It was a great opportunity to bring some more of our most popular models into the showroom, and introduce the entire range to the customers that attended. We were also able to offer some exclusive deals on the day that helped many find the car they were looking for at a time and price that was right for them. It was also a great way

for our team to interact with our customer base, which everyone enjoyed.”

Robinsons Mercedes-Benz Takes Home The Trophy Robinsons Mercedes-Benz has taken home the trophy at this year’s Mercedes Golf Tournament, beating teams from across the UK to the pole position.

Customers from Mercedes-Benz of Norwich, Graham Knights and Dean Peruzzi, and Mercedes-Benz of Kings Lynn customer Mark Nixon came together at the world famous St Andrews Golf Course in Scotland, accompanied by Mercedes-Benz of Norwich Sales Executive James Cooling, to represent the region late last year.

Following a series of regional heats, the group took part in an impressive three day competition, finishing with the highest amount of Stableford points in the tournament. The Team Award, which was awarded at a black tie ceremony held in the grounds of St Andrews’, topped the event off, crowning Robinsons Mercedes-Benz as this year’s winner.

Further good news followed, with Dean Peruzzi also taking the winning position in his handicap at the National Final. The win will now see him travel to Stuttgart, Germany this autumn to represent 54

the UK against golfers from across the world.

Peruzzi, who plays off a 21 handicap, teed up on the famous Kingsbarn course and registered a total of 68 Stapleford points over the two days’ winning the ‘19 and overs’ handicap category.

Commenting, Peruzzi said: “Being able to take part in the Mercedes Trophy has been a once in a lifetime experience for me. The event was full of ‘money-can’t-buy’ moments and I am already looking forward to travelling to Germany.”

The tournament series, which was established in 1989, is open to Mercedes-Benz customers who are invited to participate by their local dealership. Each year more than 60,000 players tee up in more than 60 countries across the world, all aiming to secure their place in Germany. Current holders of the Mercedes Trophy are Team France, so we’ll keep our fingers crossed Peruzzi brings back the trophy this year.

Highlighting Summer Style Robinsons Mercedes-Benz joins forces with Newmarket Racecourse The highlight of the summer season for many across the region, Newmarket Racecourses’ Moët & Chandon July Festival returned to the picturesque Adnams July Course last year, welcoming a stunning display from Mercedes-Benz of Bury St Edmunds and Mercedes-Benz of Cambridge.

The third year the collaboration has taken place, the racecourse provided the perfect backdrop to the three pointed stars, with some of the newest Mercedes-Benz models taking centre stage.

Surrounded by world class racing, and a fabulously laid back ambience, the event welcomed ladies and gents in their finest attire to browse the striking couple – namely the SLC and brand new GLC. Joining forces with the style seekers of Newmarket, both Mercedes-Benz retailers were extremely pleased to take part in The Style Awards, which famously champions the Best Dressed female, male and couple over the three-day festival.

With over £30,000 worth of prizes to be won, including a visit to Mercedes-Benz World, with an AMG Driving Experience and dinner in the world-renowned Gullwing Restaurant, it was no wonder the competition attracted the majority of the courses’ visiting ladies.

On the track some of the finest thoroughbreds from around the globe came together to challenge one another in some of Europe’s top summer race events.

With Group 1 Darley July Cup also forming one of the most valuable and prestigious spring races in the world, this year’s event came highly anticipated fans.

As the sun set on what was deemed another successful occasion, the award for ‘Best Dressed Lady’ went to 33-year-old Jemma Holloway, from Bury St. Edmunds, who looked sensational in a silver skater style dress from Javelin boutique, a fabulous hat from Racing Hat Hire and navy shoes to match from Marks and Spencer.

Robinsons Mercedes-Benz joins the fashion elite Filling one of Newmarket’s most esteemed venues with over 200 fashion fanatics, the Velvet A/W16 Fashion Show returned with a vengeance, bringing even more flair, style and innovation than ever before.

Attracting guests from all over the region, the show proved as popular as ever with tickets selling out long in advance, and over 20 local retailers displaying a variety of the season’s favourite trends. Martha V, a constant favourite retailer of the show, opened the first segment, leading with a stylish collection of fur lined coats, tailored trousers

and flattering furs. Setting the bar high for the evening, the look continued throughout as many new and exciting names appeared, including Five Six Blue, Golding, Harriet Kelsall, Nanook, Elegant Atelier and many others.

Sponsoring for the fourth consecutive year, Mercedes-Benz of Bury St Edmunds and Mercedes-Benz of Cambridge were proud to feature amongst the exciting line-up, presenting the brand’s two newest models, namely the C-Class Coupé and GLC Coupé – both catwalk-worthy in their own right.

Flanking the entrance as guests approached, the two models reflected the evening’s lightshow theme, featuring eye-catching graphics that worked to compliment the model’s sporty lines and chic character.

A Summer’s Evening of Splendour

Mercedes-Benz of Norwich joins the world famous Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Taverham Hall Celebrating the music of legendary film composer John Williams, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performed within the beautiful surroundings of Taverham Hall late last summer, supported by none other than the team at Mercedes-Benz of Norwich.

Famed for over 75 blockbuster film classics, including Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Jaws and ET, John Williams’ unforgettable scores were praised in a live picnic-concert, allowing all to enjoy a relaxed evening as the sun set.

of the superb orchestrations and legendary melodies, the evening showcased a variety of well-known classics, culminating in a full suite dedicated to Star Wars, one of Williams’ most recognisable compositions.

Attending the concert, representatives from Mercedes-Benz of Norwich were pleased to present an enchanting line-up of the newest and most eye-catching models. With the S-Class Cabriolet setting the bar, the stunning convertible model demanded more than a little attention, not only from the guests,

but from the attentive Storm Troopers flanking the production.

Also displaying a stylish C-Class Coupé, the new E-Class Saloon and a sporty A-Class, guests were able to enjoy a range of Mercedes-Benz models before entering the picnic arena ready and waiting for the sounds to begin.

A unique experience for all, and one not practiced in Norwich since 1998, the world’s greatest orchestra performed all in full symphonic splendour. Presenting a programme that would later feature in London’s Royal Albert Hall, the musical brilliance of Williams was

appreciated by all in attendance.

Championed as one of the greatest film composers, and, thanks to his collaborations with the great Steven Spielberg, Williams’ still carries the title as the most Oscarnominated man alive‌ and it was easy to see why.

Ending the evening with the most iconic Star Wars anthem, it was a fantastic collaboration for Mercedes-Benz, Taverham Hall and all involved. Providing equal grandeur to the astonishing musical performance, it was one event that certainly won’t be forgotten in a hurry.

What first attracted you to Mercedes-Benz as a brand?

How does Mercedes-Benz fit in with your family?

The first Mercedes-Benz I had was a company car, a C 220 Sport. Being a Director of the business I had a choice of brands to choose from but I wanted the quality and feel you can only find within a Mercedes-Benz.

With the addition of the GLC to the family as a replacement for my wife’s SLK, the combination of the Mercedes-Benz vehicles we have in the family cover every eventuality whether we want performance or space. I would say Mercedes-Benz it is the perfect fit.

How do you feel the brand fits in with your lifestyle?

How do you find the team at Mercedes-Benz of Kings Lynn?

As a company Director, the car I drive plays an important role in the overall impression I give.

Combined with a smart suit a Mercedes-Benz presents myself and my organisation in the best possible way.

Having been a customer of 10 years I cannot fault them. James and the team are professional, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I recently had a puncture and the breakdown service I received was second to none.

What were the key attributes you looked for when purchasing your car?

First and foremost, I wanted an immersive and enjoyable cockpit experience. As someone who wouldn’t describe themselves as a ‘gadget man’ I really appreciate the simplicity and functionality of the COMAND infotainment system. It puts everything at my fingertips. Finally, it has to feel like a driver’s car with me clocking up so many miles.

If you could describe Mercedes-Benz in one word, what would it be?

I can’t give you one word but I can give you a phrase… above the rest!

Which model do you currently drive?

I’m currently driving a E 350 Coupé myself, which I thoroughly enjoy, however my wife and I have just received a new GLC that we are more than impressed with. Having put some miles on the clock on a return trip to Gatwick with a boot fully laden, it has surpassed our expectations.

What was it about that model that made you choose it?

All-Terrain Comes To The City

Mercedes-Benz of Norwich showcases the 4MATIC Range in style Mercedes-Benz of Norwich had the pleasure of showcasing the 4MATIC all-wheel drive range to the public with a display of models at intu Chapelfield Norwich last autumn. Presenting the all-new GLC Coupé, the stunning GLE and the ultimate crowd-pleaser, the Mercedes-AMG G 63, the event proved a success in so many ways for the Norfolk based retailer.

Attracting both new and familiar faces to the brand, the ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ GLE featured a half mud wrap, causing quite a stir as many hands, young and old, fought to touch the textured effect. There to emphasise the model’s multi-terrain capabilities, it was more than a familiar sight to many of the county’s scenic drivers.

Stealing the show, the AMG G 63 presented in a distinctive red had the most admirers of all with many posing for selfies upon recognising the hulking shape and luxurious finish that is synonymous with the model’s success.

With helpful staff on hand, including Star Experts Adam Worth and Michael Holland, this was the perfect opportunity to raise awareness of the 4MATIC collection. As many enquired into the capabilities of the all-wheel drive system, the team were able to discuss the fully adjustable relationship between the front or rear axle based on road conditions.

With a bespoke retail unit also in position throughout the placement, many Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG fans were able to get their hands 74

on some of their favourite merchandise. With items to suit all budgets there was a wide array of items available including t-shirts, water-proof jackets, umbrellas, soft toys, key rings, USB sticks and ‘his & her’ fragrances. A firm favourite with all ages were the Lewis Hamilton style snapback hats, with many striking their best Hamilton inspired poses.
