Places To Travel: Exotic Holiday Destinations

Places To Travel: Exotic Holiday Destinations There is not one response to the question of where are the very best places to travel on vacation. The first question to ask is not what place to go but instead what sort of traveler are you currently? What Type of Traveler Are You? * Are you a Phileas Fogg? Have you been a global traveler who measures success by how many countries visited? * Have you been a Beach Holidays Robinson Curuso? Can you enjoy the out from the way and off the beaten path? * Have you been a Geoffery Chaucer? May be the trip more about the folks you travel with than the destination? * Are you a Henry David Thoreau? Is your ideal vacation just a peaceful place near home? There are lots of different traveling styles or different goals for travel. * You are able to travel to move away from it all. * You can go learn about a brand new culture. * You are able to go the party. * You are able to happen to be reconnect with family and friends. * You are able to travel for adventure. What's Your Travel Style / Budget? Many people would rather stay in the home than stay in anywhere that did not need 5 stars. Others could not imagine remaining in anyplace more fancy than a youth hostel. Some who'd love to stay at the fancy resort can't afford to. When you travel you will need to determine your travel budget and style. What sort of style you prefer will help determine where you are able to afford traveling and for how long. My partner and I planned a trip to Hawaii before our first child was born. After looking at our budget we'd to choose that a road trip to San Diego would have been a better option. One if by Land, Two if By Sea... Three if By Air? Do you like road trips? In that case what about a domestic itinerary. If you want the outdoors or history you can visit national parks. If you want sports look at a tour of major or minor league ballparks. If you like big city lights would a trip to New York, Chicago or Las Vegas be within your range? Do you like cruises? Consider only packing and unpacking once and letting your hotel (ship) travel from port to port. From the East coast of the United States, Bermuda and the Caribbean are both

easily accessible. From the west coast, Mexico or Alaska offer very different vacations. If you adore to fly and are able to afford after that it Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America beckon. Europe offers familiarity for American visitors but with plenty of history. Europe offers destinations from the familiar London and Paris to less familiar destinations like Croatia, Slovenia and Estonia. You have to be willing to cope with another language or driving on the other side of the road. Africa offers unforgettable wildlife experiences or the wonders of ancient Egypt. Additionally, it offers ancient churches dug to the rocks of Ethiopia or far off destinations like Timbuktu. It will demand many travels to get further outside their comfort zone. Asia offers ancient cultures and new economic powerhouses. Your trip might be to overwhelming places like New Delhi that may challenge even veteran travelers or safer more familiar destinations like Singapore. South America offers better exchange rates than Europe but less political stability. It provides European style cities like Buenos Aires or ancient Incan cities like Machu Picchu. One thing I discovered from hosting the Amateur Traveler for over three years is that there are lots of more places traveling than I'd originally considered. It had never occurred to me to: * Go to Tonga and swim with whales. * Start to see the stone churches in Ethiopia. * Do an evening tour of Petra in Jordan. * Begin to see the wild horses in Mongolia. The more I understand travel the more places I wish to go. What is the better place traveling to? For me personally, it is always the following place. Chris Christensen could be the host of the popular Amateur Traveler travel podcast. Places have Geographical features which are exclusive and unique. Places have been with us for thousands of years and have accumulated a wealthy history and associated culture, art, architecture and folklore. It's not possible to see these through books or the internet. The places have to be traveled to get the authentic experience. At some point in life, after college, after retirement, during business trips, during holidays, a long trip outside your country of residence could make you see the world for yourself. By having an increasingly global economy, the international travel experience is an advantage which can be a major advantage in a competitive situation. There are known and important places which are frequently visited e.g. London, New York and major capitals of Europe and North America. These places have become an amalgamation of different cultures and visitors also turn into a the main same. However, near the same places and in the same countries, are less known places which have a definite and unique culture and these exotic places come in general more fun for the reason that everything you see there's something new and

about which very little has been written. The author writes about such places centered on his personal experiences during visits to these places.
