For more than 11 weeks, the Roys found refuge at the Ronald McDonald Houses. They were able

At the Ronald McDonald House, the Roys could sit together at dinner, celebrate milestones, and support Cooper in ways that hospital walls alone couldn’t allow. Birthdays, small victories, and even ordinary conversations around a kitchen table became lifelines of normalcy in the midst of crisis. These moments reminded them that love and laughter can still live alongside fear and uncertainty.
One of the most powerful memories came when Cooper, still in recovery, learned that his younger brother Carter had considered quitting football to stay by his side. From his hospital bed, Cooper urged him to keep playing—and Carter went on to finish his senior season and make it to the state championships. That milestone became a beacon of hope for the whole family, a reminder that even in hardship, life and dreams could carry forward.
Families like the Roys never expect to need the Ronald McDonald House, but when tragedy strikes, your generosity is what keeps doors open. Every night underwritten, every meal served, every volunteer who offers a smile is possible because of donors like you. With your help, the House isn’t just a shelter—it’s a sanctuary of strength, hope, and healing.

Change a family’s tomorrow.
Since 1988, more than 17,000 families have found comfort and hope at our Springfield Houses. Every gift ensures that when tragedy strikes, parents and siblings can remain close—together in love, together in strength, together in healing. With supporters like you, more families will discover a place of peace in their darkest days.

Through every surgery, setback, and sleepless night, Cooper’s faith has remained his steady foundation. When his car was struck head-on, everything inside was destroyed—except for one thing. His Bible, which had been sitting on the dashboard, stayed perfectly in place throughout the crash.
To Cooper and his family, that Bible wasn’t just a book that survived—it was a sign of hope, a symbol that God’s hand was with them even in their darkest hour. That same faith continues to guide Cooper’s recovery and give his family strength for every new day.

Each year, more than 800 families find strength and comfort inside our Springfield Ronald McDonald Houses. But that comfort is only possible through the generosity of people like you.
When you Adopt a Room, you give families the priceless gift of staying close—close to their child’s hospital bed, close to the care they need, and close to the hope that tomorrow will be brighter.
Your support means parents don’t have to choose between paying bills or being at their child’s side. It means siblings can still share meals together. It means a family can remain whole when everything else feels broken. When you “Heart the Houses”, You Help Families Like the Roys Stay Close. To
