MODEL 7702 BACK PRESSURE REGULATOR
Taylor Valve Technology, Inc
BACK PRESSURE REGULATOR / RELIEF VALVE Application Recommended for a variety of oil and gas production applications, including the following: Paraffin A common cause of paraffin build-up is gas breaking out of solution in the tubing string. Through use of this regulator, constant pressure can be maintained on the oil column, permitting gas bubbles to be pumped out of the string before they rupture and break out of solution.
Heading up This regulator, installed on wells that tend to head up and flow, will assure a full tubing string by maintaining constant pressure on the oil column. This assures continuous lubrication of the polish rod, adding to the life of the stuffing box rubbers. This also enhances efficiency of the bottom hole pump.
By-Pass to Casing This regulator can also be used as a by-pass to the casing in event lead lines should freeze or get plugged.
Features Compact Design The Taylor Model 7702 is a Back Pressure Regulator and a Liquid Pressure Relief Valve. It is an excellent and economical device for automatic relief and control of pressure in liquid service. Control is accomplished by the upstream pressure acting on the piston area and the spring compression, which causes the valve to open at a field adjusted set pressure. The orifice opening will vary based on an increase or decrease in the upstream pressure. The Taylor Back Pressure Regulator is offered in 1, 2 and 3 inch sizes. The product is suitable for pressure settings up to 1500 psi and operating pressures of 5000 psi.
Easy to install in the field and minimum envelope for installation in tight spaces
Field Repairable The only truly field repairable 7702 back pressure regulator
Corrosion Resistant Internals Increases meantime between service with all stainless steel internals.
304SS Springs Provides the most reliable material for continuos cycling operation, very low potential effect due to temperature changes and corrosion resistant
Solutions for critical fluid control . . . The balanced design of this product gives exceptional control for both relief and pressure requirements
