ello and welcome to the fifth edition of Mesa COMPASS! It is hard to believe how quickly the last five years have gone.

As always, I am excited to share some of the interesting and innovative things the Mesa Chamber of Commerce has been up to this past year. In this issue, you will find plenty of stories that spotlight our amazing members, a few of our many programs and events, the new and unique Mesa Industry and Defense Council and much more. All of the articles help to show why Mesa is such a wonderful community in which to live, work and play.

One of the many programs that I’m especially proud of is the Mesa Veterans Program, which has allowed us to collaborate with community partners as a resource for veterans and get them the help they need. This past year we have continued to work with veterans in Mesa and have partnered with Mesa United Way, the City of Mesa and other agencies who care for and about our veterans.

The Chamber is also currently working on a documentary that will help show how a large number of organizations are coming together to make a positive difference in the lives of veterans. We will post updates on our website as to when and where you can watch the finished program.

I am also pleased to tell you about the new Mesa Jr. Chamber of Commerce, which we started in September. Over the course of a school year, senior leadership students from Benedictine University - Mesa will volunteer a minimum of 50 hours, helping with Chamber activities and spending time with member sponsors. These future leaders will receive plenty of mentoring, the chance to learn about some of the top business leaders in Mesa, and the opportunity to participate in some of our many events and activities. These students will also host a signature event in the spring which will be open to the public and will give them experience in event management.

The Mesa Chamber is partnering with Benedictine University — Mesa to bring the Jr. Chamber program to the young people of our community. I cannot wait to see the positive impact it has on students.

INTRO Economic growth

Mesa has attracted large aerospace and technology employers like Boeing and Apple which have added a significant number of jobs and boosted the economy.

Nearby Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport has grown to include a large hub of industrial businesses that offer freight, manufacturing, construction and aviation services.

“These companies not only offer great wages for employees but will continue to grow,” Giles said.

The addition of the Central Mesa Light Rail extension has served a growing transit need and has connected more leisure and commuter riders in Mesa and throughout the Valley.

“Not only did this extension dramatically increase ridership, but it has been a great opportunity for local economic development for businesses nearby,” Giles said.

A 1.9-mile Gilbert Road extension to the light rail, consisting of two additional stations and a park-and-ride, is scheduled to be completed in 2018.

panning 132 square miles and located just 15 miles east of Phoenix is Mesa, the third largest city in Arizona and home to approximately 465,000 residents.

The family-friendly city is proud to offer affordable housing, top rated schools, employment opportunities, recreational programs and a world-class performing and visual arts scene.

Highly livable city

Mesa was recently named the 2015 “Best City in the Southwest” by MONEY magazine. This doesn’t come as a surprise to the residents who call Mesa home.

“One of the reasons Mesa attracts a lot of people is that it is a very nice and affordable place to live,” said Mesa Mayor John Giles. “We offer low taxes and, as a result, have seen tremendous growth.”

Large-scale master-planned communities like Eastmark and Cadence at Gateway are quickly drawing the attention of Valley homebuyers.

“Homes in Mesa are selling faster than building permits can be issued,” Giles said. “This is a good sign that we have a healthy community.”

Mesa Public Schools is an award-winning and nationally recognized school district, focusing on academics and offering a variety of traditional and specialized options including gifted and talented, dual language, creative and performing arts and engineering to meet the needs of every child.

As a community that also supports and fosters higher education, Mesa is home to Arizona State University Polytechnic campus with more than 5,000 students, private catholic Benedictine University and Wilkes University offering liberal arts, sciences and professional programs. Additionally, Mesa Community College is the largest of the 10 community colleges in the Maricopa County Community College District.

“We are constantly investing in our city parks,” Giles said. “Currently we are planning major upgrades to Pioneer Park.”

Residents of Mesa and their families can enjoy shaded play structures, picnic and barbecue facilities, hiking paths, biking trails, basketball courts and spray pads.

Two of the most recent additions are Riverview Park and Sloan Park, which is also the spring training home to the 2016 World Champion Chicago Cubs.

“Sloan Park is a year-round facility and the signature Riverview Park playground attracts kids from all over the valley,” Giles said.

Arts district

The world-class Mesa Arts Center offers performing and visual arts, along with classes and events for guests of all ages.

Each year, Mesa Arts Center welcomes more than 450,000 visitors.

“This is truly our crown jewel,” said Sally Harrison, president and CEO for the Mesa Chamber of Commerce. “Mesa is quickly becoming recognized as a developing arts community.”

The popular Second Friday Night Out in historic downtown Mesa features a variety of talented artists, music, food and activities for all to enjoy. Every November, a two-day Mesa Music Festival celebrates emerging artists and Merry Main Street kicks off the day after Thanksgiving with an ice rink outside city plaza.

“These events are a great opportunity for people to come out and experience the authentic downtown district, featuring great shopping, restaurants and locallyowned small businesses,” Giles said.

The most exciting recent development in community leadership is the work of the Early Childhood Education Task Force. Mesa kids are showing up to kindergarten unprepared to learn. The task force identified needs, developed a plan and is now working with city and community partners to implement the plan.

Get in the know ince the Mesa Chamber of Commerce first opened its doors more than a century ago, it has earned a welldeserved reputation for helping local businesses succeed.

Sally Harrison, Mesa Chamber president, says the Chamber strives to unite like-minded groups, business owners and others who can advocate for and support each other. This goal complements the Chamber’s mission of Improving, Promoting and Protecting businesses in Mesa.

One example of this, Harrison said, is the Vision 2020 program, which is part of the Chamber’s Non-Profit Vitality Council.

“We bring together non-profit agencies, faith leaders, elected officials, businesses and individuals who care about the concerns in our community,” Harrison said.

“It is a regional network for success and success equals solutions.”

Beacon of hope

The Mesa Chamber of Commerce is also a beacon of unwavering help and support to its members, during both successful and challenging times.

Past chamber board chairman Craig Lohman recalled how the Chamber immediately rallied behind its members when a local attorney started filing lawsuits against business owners, claiming that their parking lots were not up to the standards required by Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

“Our local business owners weren’t given the opportunity to make any changes prior to the lawsuits being filed, and so the Mesa Chamber got behind this issue quickly,” Lohman said.

“The Chamber held informational sessions and seminars that talked about the ADA laws. In the end, Arizona’s attorney general got involved to cease the lawsuits.”

Lohman, who attended many of the informational meetings, said he was impressed with the Chamber’s unwavering support of its members and dedication to helping them.

Sense of community

“The Chamber was able to provide information to owners to help prevent costly lawsuits and was an advocate for its members. This is just one of the many ways that the Mesa Chamber has helped to create a sense of community among business owners.”

The Mesa Chamber is also constantly looking for ways it can help its residents.

As Harrison noted, the Mesa Veterans Program, which launched in August, 2015, has been extremely successful at providing a “switchboard” of resources that can help connect vets with the assistance they need.

From education and housing to health-related concerns and workforce development, Harrison said the Chamber, along with help from Mesa Community College, Mesa United Way and others, is proud to assist veterans and point them in the right direction for help.

As director of Membership Development, Susan Tychman enjoys speaking with Mesa business owners about the many reasons they should consider joining the Chamber.

After asking them about how they hope to promote and grow their business, Tychman explains how joining the Mesa Chamber will give them a great way to connect with others and help their company thrive.

“I also let them know how joining the Chamber will allow them to really feel connected to the local community,” she said.

One of the many tangible ways that joining the Mesa Chamber of Commerce is helpful to local business owners, Tychman said, is having the opportunity to network with others both in and out of their industry circle.

For example, someone who owns a small business may end up connecting with the owners of a larger company who might have space for the new member to set up shop and connect with their customers, Tychman said.

“I will also look at our business directory with new members and ask them to choose some businesses that are specific to their industry, and then help them connect with those people too.”

When speaking with potential new members, Tychman said she also spends a lot of time going over the large number of events that the Chamber hosts on a regular basis.

“I enjoy pulling up our website and showing them the Events calendar and going through that with them, and I’ll talk about some of our many monthly events such as the Lunch Mob, which is a great and informal way to meet people,” Tychman said, adding they always suggests that new members make an effort to attend as many events as they can.

Live from Mesa, it’s Mesa Morning Live O

ne of the most popular events that is hosted by the Mesa Chamber of Commerce happens bright and early in the morning.

Once a month, 100-plus people gather at 6:45 a.m. for a catered breakfast and to watch internationally-acclaimed comedian Mark Cordes host “Mesa Morning Live.”

The show is taped inside Crescent Crown Distributing in Mesa and can also be seen on MesaChannel11 and YouTube. Regular features include a wide variety of guests, musical entertainment from local groups including The Duttons, and plenty of fun, courtesy of Cordes.

“One of my favorite elements to every show is the Community Spotlight where we focus on a local non-profit organization,” Cordes says.

“Mesa is full of fabulous non-profits and it is one of the things that makes the City and the East Valley such a great place to live and work.”

While it is difficult for Cordes to name his favorite guests, he says that having both Senator John McCain and his wife Cindy on the show during an election year was especially memorable.

“It was great to have Senator McCain make a return visit and share his vision of the future, both in Arizona and on the national stage. He is still as passionate about topics like veterans’ affairs and national security as he has ever been,” Cordes says.

“Mrs. McCain also made a great appearance a few months ago to share her concerns over one of her favorite causes, human trafficking. It was an enlightening and somber look at a terrible condition that is happening all over the country and right here in Arizona.”

Events and activities galore at the Mesa Chamber E

very year, the Mesa Chamber of Commerce offers its members 400-plus “happenings.” These events take place every week, once a month and annually. Below is a just a sampling of the many activities that Chamber members can take part in:

Mesa Music Festival

Held annually each November, the Mesa Music Festival is a free admission music and arts festival that celebrates the culture of Downtown Mesa. With performances by over 200 artists from around the world, the Mesa Music Festival is the premier emerging artist festival in Arizona.

Aviation Fascination

This popular annual event takes place in November. Local aviation-related businesses bring in equipment for the public to see up close; this may include

an Apache Longbow from Boeing and a B-17 bomber from Falcon Field. The Mesa Police usually flies in a police helicopter, which is always a hit with the crowd.

Annual Leadership Awards

This event has taken place for over 100 years and started the first year the Chamber was founded. The awards ceremony recognizes businesses of all sizes that make a difference in the community as well as awards for the Student of the Year, Teacher of the Year, Professor of the Year and Non-Profit of the Year. Around 500 Chamber members usually attend the festive event.

The Mesa Industry and Defense Council s president and CEO of the Mesa Chamber of Commerce, Sally Harrison strives to stay on top of the issues that certain members face, as well as the many goals, values and other things that the members’ businesses share in common.

For example, when Harrison realized that many of the Chamber’s members’ businesses have federal issues, and that these members are all related in some way to the defense industry, she decided to create the Mesa Industry and Defense Council (MIDC) to provide them with a coalition where they could work together on topics that concern them.

“Since we work closely with Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake, it made sense to bring these businesses together to address any issues on a federal level,” she said, adding that her friendship with Senator McCain was also a driving factor in creating the MIDC.

Some of the many Chamber members who are involved in the coalition include Alion Science & Technology, CRM of America, Nammo Talley, Phoenix Logistics, Inc., Orbital ATK, Phoenix Mesa-Gateway Airport, Resolution Copper, The Boeing Company and MD Helicopters.

Providing the Mesa Chamber members with a coalition like MIDC makes a lot of sense, said Senator McCain. As he noted, there are at least 24 aerospace and defense-related companies located in the east valley with around 10,000 total employees.

“Arizona ranks fifth in the United States for aerospace and defense employers,” he said, adding that the MIDC also includes companies like energy and construction firms that are related to the defense industry.

both Mesa Chamber members and part of these industries have a place like MIDC to come together.

“Our economy in Arizona is keyed to these companies and corporations and their growth. Everything from energy, construction, defense, the mining industry and information technology — these are all high employment areas,” he said.

“The MIDC will also allow the different companies to network with each other and make sure the elected officials are supportive of them.”

Senator McCain said the Chamber members who are part of the MIDC are proud to work in Mesa.

“Companies and corporations want to be located in Mesa because of the outstanding lifestyle it offers. Thanks to the MIDC, we now have the unique ability to bring all of these companies together.”

Mesa hard at work Mesa’s talented workforce, pro-business environment attracts tech companies BY BRIAN SODOMA

C

raig Kitchen knows his employer, MD Helicopters Inc., requires considerable skilled personnel to meet the demands of its global clientele. Recently, the aviation industry leader began increasing its production capabilities at its Mesa Falcon Field operations, which could add up to 100 more positions to the existing 400 at the site. Kitchen, the company’s chief commercial officer, is confident that finding the right talent will be a cinch in Mesa.

“There are a lot of people to draw from in the workforce who have the skills we need to do our business worldwide,” he said.

Mesa is home to other big technology players like Apple, Boeing and Mitsubishi; and there are many other savvy tech companies who point to a strong workforce and pro-business mindset as key drivers for why they are happy to call Mesa home.

Education is key

Kitchen says MD Helicopters is in constant need of engineering minds as well as assemblers and mechanics and other skilled workers. But he also says there are accounting and business development needs as well.

“We like what the educational system offers here in Mesa,” he noted. “We get good engineering students along with other disciplines like accounting and business. Many will intern with us and then stay on when they’re done.”

ASU’s Polytechnical campus, located at the former Williams Air Force Base since 1996, is another welcomed asset for the city and its tech companies. The site is home to more than 8,000 students, including 4,500 engineering students, studying 40 different disciplines like aerospace engineering, applied sciences and biomedical engineering.

“Mesa is a student-friendly, probusiness type of city, which is beneficial to our faculty, our staff and students,” added Angela Creedon, ASU’s Associate Vice President of University Affairs.

Mesa is catching the attention of out-of-state tech enterprises considering Arizona for relocation. Recently, Dexcom, a leader in the continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) testing market for diabetics, commenced construction on a new 180,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Mesa, which will add more than 500 jobs.

“We chose Mesa due to the available, talented workforce, in addition to the proximity to our headquarters in San Diego and our key suppliers,” said Kevin Sayer, Dexcom’s president and CEO.

Site 17: Creating an urban oasis Q&A with Valley developer Brian Marshall BY PAT WHITNEY he southwest corner of Mesa Drive and University (Site 17) is one step closer to transformation from raw land to a premier utopian microcosm aimed at attracting residents to downtown Mesa to live and work. Its prime location has developers salivating as the city reached out to nearby neighborhoods and developers for input.

Nearly 2,000 neighborhood residents completed surveys rating preferences in five categories. Jeffrey McVay, manager of Downtown Transformation, summarized residents’ primary choices: • Residential use: residential detached and attached single family and midsize condos • Non-residential use: restaurants and pedestrian mall • Public amenities: a farmer’s market and pocket parks • Streetscape: shade trees • Transition to historic district: openspace/pathways and single-family detached housing “At a November forum, developers overwhelmingly agreed that the creation of a new, urban residential neighborhood that incorporates a mix of detached and attached residential products is an exciting opportunity for development of the parcel,” McVay said. ore than 5,000 people turned out in August 2015 to herald the start of service on the Central Mesa light rail extension, finished seven months ahead of schedule and on budget. Susan Tierney, communications manager, Valley Metro Rail, talks about ridership, economic impacts and future plans.

Is the Central Mesa Extension meeting ridership and economic impact expectations?

A: In September 2016, there was an average of 6,400 weekday boardings in Mesa, which is consistent with our ridership expectations. Valley Metro Rail is a proven catalyst for strong economic activity. Investment along the Central Mesa Extension accounts for $90 million of residential, education, commercial and retail development. There has been very strong support from neighborhood groups, businesses, and education and arts facilities in the downtown Mesa area.

What are the Mesa mayor and council members saying about the extension?

The Gilbert Road light rail extension will serve as a gateway for the East Valley, providing greater access to destinations in Mesa, Phoenix and Tempe. It extends rail service 1.9 miles on Main Street from Mesa Drive to Gilbert Road. It will include two stations, a transit center and a parkand-ride. Anticipated to add 2,800 daily riders to the system, a late 2018 or early 2017 opening is projected.

harles Gregory serves as the Campus Executive Officer for Benedictine University, Mesa campus. Last month marked his one-year anniversary of moving to the Valley of the Sun, after serving the Lisle, Illinois campus for 19 years.

Forbes magazine has named BenU one of the top universities in the country six years running. In this Q&A, Gregory explains why this hidden gem is so deserving of that title.

Q

What is the mission of Benedictine University?

Benedictine comes from one of the oldest segments of the Roman Catholic Church.

We are founded on community values, mission, and are famous for staying in one location. We are about listening, conversation, and the values of stability.

It’s interesting to see how well Mesa and the university line up when it comes to education.

What are the academic offerings of the University?

administration and accounting, computer science, and nutrition. All together this fall we enrolled 508 students. We had a roughly 40% increase in enrollment this year.

Share one of the ways BenU has partnered with the community in terms of student programs?

Q

We have the Junior Chamber Program that works very closely with Sally Harrison and the Mesa Chamber of Commerce. It’s the first of its kind, where selected students work with business leaders in the community. They experience what these business leaders do, how they make decisions, and how they lead their companies.

Can you tell us about the development of the Alhambra Hotel into student housing?

Q

That’s something I’m really excited about.

We partnered with a local developer and I’m grateful to him. The Alhambra Hotel became available and starting in January will house 53-55 students. The Alhambra Hotel is a historical site and one of the oldest buildings in downtown Mesa. It fits so well with what Benedictine is about; it’s about community, stability, and staying.

What types of students are drawn to BenU?

Where do you see BenU in 5 years?

Many students here are firstgeneration. They get up in the morning and the first thing they do is go to work, not to class. They see college as an opportunity and they will do whatever it takes to seize that moment of opportunity. Their stories are inspirational. You ask me what keeps me going?

It’s these students. I think our students know why they’re here. We don’t get our students by default, rather they are intentional about what they are looking for.

I’m very impressed with Mesa Public Schools. Dr. Mchael Cowan does a wonderful job and I think the support and importance the city places on education, you just won’t find in a lot of communities. That said, our applications for next fall are already up over 20%.

We will only limit ourselves by space and by programming, so we need to stay ahead of those.

We think there are plenty of students out there to grow this institution with students who are again, intentionally looking for a place like ours.

Unique educational partnership is working

Mesa Counts on College Access Center is a partnership between the City of Mesa, Mesa Community College, and Mesa Public schools in a city-wide education initiative whose primary goal is to double the number of low-income students who will complete college in the next nine years. The center also addresses college attendance and completion, as well as increasing career readiness within the Mesa community.

Much of the center’s focus is on the underserved population of low-income junior-high and high school student, free college advising, summer camps, internship programs, and GED and ACT/PSAT/SAT prep classes.

Those enrolled receive one-on-one interaction with staff, as well as a personalized

experience, designed to help them achieve success. The center tackles tough issues too, like helping students transition back into college after taking time off. They also provide resources for the family members of postsecondary students, creating a holistic approach.

With volunteers from AmeriCorp rounding out their staff, as well as their partnership with Mesa Public Schools, the center is able to reach a broad range of students, including the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Accelerated Learning Academy, as well as all Mesa high schools. In addition, they have also begun offering some services to Mesa middle schools.

Since its inception in August 2015, Mesa Counts on College Access Center has seen consistent growth around the number of students enrolled in their programs, as well as those going on to complete their GED. With nearly 80 students enrolling each month the center has helped over 1100 students achieve their education goals serving as an invaluable resource to the Mesa community.

Mesa Community College Strengthens East Valley s an educational, economic, cultural and workforce contributor to the East Valley, Mesa Community College is woven into the tapestry of community success. As their home away from Wrigley Field, Mesa’s Sloan Park has been spring training central for the Cubs since it

opened in 2014. The state-ofthe-art facility has the largest seating capacity of all MLB spring training stadiums.

Proving there isn’t a bad seat in the house, the stadium has 15,000 seats: 9,200 fixed seats, 4,200 outfield berm capacity, and room for 1,600 on the suite level.

Located on 140 acres, the complex features four practice fields, two major league diamonds, a half-sized

prominent fixture in Mesa — and the Cactus League — for nearly 40 years, the original stadium opened in 1977 as the spring training home to the Oakland Athletics. Today, the A’s have returned to their roots, once again calling Hohokam Stadium home.

In 2015, the stadium underwent a renovation, transforming it into a state-ofthe-art facility, which boasts

a 56-foot, high-definition scoreboard, one of the largest scoreboards in the league.

There’s also extended seating down both foul lines, and party decks in the left and right fields. The clubhouse also features new lockers with power outlets and Internet connections, lounge chairs and TVs, and a weight room that was expanded to double its original size.

esa has long been a source of recreation for visitors and desert dwellers alike. Beyond boasting a great selection of golf courses, this mesmerizing city is home to some of the most picturesque parks, amazing aquatic facilities, breathtaking lakes, and treasured hiking trails.

“There is so much activity that now takes place at the Salt River basin, which has become an incredible resource for our residents as well as visitors,” said Michelle Streeter, Vice President of Communications for Visit Mesa.

The area is a popular spot for both birders looking to observe the winter migration and watersports enthusiasts. Despite its desert landscape, Streeter says Mesa is a destination for boating, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. Activities like BYOB – Bring Your Own Board – “happy hour” gatherings have become popular among locals.

Tasty trails

Catering to those who want to enjoy the outdoors and eat their cake too, Visit Mesa established the Fresh Foodie Trail. This year-round program highlights the city’s treasured family farms and food festivals.

Armed with maps, trailgoers venture by car to a number of food-driven experiences throughout Mesa. Notable stops include The Orange Patch, True Garden Urban Farm, Hayden Flour Mills at Sossaman Farms, Mesa Urban Garden, and more.

Much like the Salt River basin, Usery Mountain Regional Park, part of the Maricopa County Parks system, is an outstanding outlet for outdoor adventure. It offers a multitude of engagement points for residents, including serving as an entrance to the Tonto National Forest.

“There are spectacular hiking trials at the park, and the county made it even better by installing an outdoor fitness gym with some truly incredible programming,” Streeter explained. “This is Mesa’s equivalent to Camelback Mountain or Papago Park.”

Usery Park features a nature center and engaging programs like full-moon hiking, movies in the park, archery programs, toddler cruises and a progressive fitness hike series.

Another heavy-hitter among Mesa parks is Riverview Park, ranked among the 10 best parks in the country by USA Today in September 2015. This incredible complex includes a community fishing lake, playgrounds, sprayground water amenities for children, climbing structures and open play areas. It also is connected to Sloan Park, the new Spring Training home of the Chicago Cubs, 2016 World Series champions, making it a great place to see and experience the best of Major League Baseball.

Get your feet wet

Taking structured water recreation to the next level are Mesa’s varied aquatic centers, which Streeter calls some of the best in the country.

“We host an annual Grand Prix where Olympic swimmers come train and compete in our pools,” she said. “Another great event is the Citrus Classic, which brings dozens of colleges and university swimmers to Mesa pools for training.”

Outside of the competition and training circuits, Mesa’s aquatic centers are favored by residents for their individual amenities and points of differentiation like a lazy river, lap pool, dive tank, toddler slide, spray features and shade ramadas.

Game changer!

Mesa a heavy hitter for professional sports

M

esa is no stranger to professional sports. As the Spring Training home of the Oakland A’s and the 2016 World Series Champion Chicago Cubs, the city is teeming with baseball fans and fanatics every spring. Now in its fourth season, Sloan Park, formerly Cubs Park, continues to draw record crowds, earning Mesa the top spot on the Cactus League’s Spring Training park roster.

Situated on 140 acres near the intersection of the Loop 101 and Rio Salado Parkway, the $99 million Sloan Park is the newest in the Cactus League.

With capacity for up to 15,000 attendees, it’s also the largest of any Major League 40 | Mesa Chamber Business and Resource Guide

Baseball Spring Training facility.

Even before the Cubs cinched the 2016 World Series championship, fans flocked to the park, repeatedly surpassing attendance records for every other team in the Cactus League. With Cubs Fever at an all-time high, the 2017 Spring Training season is expected to be another record breaker.

While baseball is certainly a focal point, plans are in the works to expand Mesa’s professional sports lineup. In 2017, the city will add soccer to its roster with FC Arizona, a newly established professional soccer league.

FC Arizona will bring what has become the fastest growing professional

sport in America to Arizona. More specifically, it will bring soccer to Mesa, with plans in place for games to be held at Mesa Community College. The league also will engage residents with youth sports camps aimed at giving local youth clubs and players a professional soccer experience.

Hinting at an even bigger future in sports, Michelle Streeter, Vice President of Communications for Visit Mesa, says they conducted fiscal analysis regarding the possible creation of a new city-based sports complex. As proposed, it will be geared toward youth and amateur sports.

With everything on the horizon, Mesa’s future in sports is certainly bright!
