Camera Operator
1. The people working around the cameras may trip from the wires. (trip hazard)
Make sure the wires are not everywhere; tape them to floor with gaffer tape.
2. The presenters and guests may be harmed if the camera falls by accident. (trip hazard)
Make sure that the camera is tightly secured on the Tri pod and that it is on level ground.
3. Liquids may spill on the camera which may cause a fire or electrocutions. (fire hazard)
Make sure everyone does not eat or drink next to the cameras or if needed then have sport bottles which will prevent from spilling water.
4. Camera may have faulty parts which may not work; this can have a huge effect on the people that working around or near the camera. (fire hazard)
Check the Camera beforehand, to see if everything is okay make sure an electricity check is done.
5. Some people may trip and fall from hitting the Tri pod. (trip hazard)
Be careful when you are around the Tri pod and watch where you are going also keeping studio neat and tidy to prevent this from happening.
6. Camera may not be clear and the brightness may be low while recording.
Check the camera beforehand and test it to see that the recording will be clear and bright enough.
7. If the tripod is set at the maximum height on the tripod the camera or tripod may fall and cause injury.
Make sure that people are aware that the camera is set up high and that they should be careful when they are near the camera.
8. Pre-recorded segment- can be may be harmed by rain. (electrical hazard)
Protect the camera from the rain, using an umbrella. Or covers.
9. The tri pod may be break if you haven’t got the correct size for the camera.
Ensuring the right sized tri pod is used for the right the camera.
10. Camera may be placed too close to the lighting. Causing burns and fire risks.
Make sure the lights are switched off when it is not being used, and keep the lighting at a safe distance from the camera.
