Copyright law is any ideas you take of someone else’s or copy it exactly how they have done it example is copying someone’s song lyric, or filming for a music video which is exactly the same as someone else’s etc.
I breached to the copyright law because I did not get an email confirmation from my artist saying that we have permission for using his song for our music video.

VIDEO PRODUCTION OFCOM makes sure they regulate on what is being shown in music videos such as the explicit Drugs, smoking, sexual scenes, nudity, violence, danger etc. also every music video should be broadcasted before the watershedwhich is suitable for all children. OFCOM makes sure they regulate what is being shown on music videos as they make sure nothing is being shown that can easily be imitated by others to do or promote them to do it. They also allow harm and offence but to some extent that protects the public and limits them in what they see. OFCOM makes sure that the regulate what is being shown on music videos through checking if there is any crime scenes that would encourage others to do it or promote them to do it. Descriptions and a person showing criminal methods are not allowed to be broadcasted before it is not checked by OFCOM or has been edited. OFCOM makes sure that they regulate on what is being shown

The insurance which is covered by public liability is to save broadcasters from saving them a huge loss in their money, public liability insurance includes them to have save them from all caused that can be occurred example is replacement of equipments needed, costumes which need to be repaired etc.

Public liability insurance would have affected our production management as we would have been more costly, we would have to pay extra money to save us from any causes which can be cause whilst doing our music video. On the other hand i feel it would be excellent to have public liability insurance as it would save us from all the damages we had done and would have been replaced by new ones, example any equipments which had broken down could have been replaced by new ones, which would have made it easier for us as we had had very limited time on filming and editing our music video. Completion insurance would have affected our production
broadcasters from income loss which they may occur, or additional expenses which can be need when doing filming. Any loss which is made after broadcasting their music video will be replaced as this is what completion insurance makes you entitled to.

The role of BTECH in Media production is that you have no exams but you have course works which include a variety sometimes it may be doing a lot of computer work other times it is doing physical action such as filming etc.
In total we had 3 people in our music video who were the main people, If i had done all insurances that covered all the damages which may have been cause as a broadcaster it would cost me up to ÂŁ70. In total we had done 5 days of filming and 8 days of editing. Having the insurances would save us from all damages and loss as it would have replaced the stuff which are damaged and paid for our loss.
