DESIGN

This brief, sourced from @ designerbriefs, called for a logo, brand identity, packaging design, and posters for the skincare brand KREM. Specializing in top-tier skincare for diverse skin types, KREM is dedicated to promoting healthy skin for everyone, regardless of background or gender.

Slogan: ‘Healthy skin for all’

I aimed to evoke an organic, warm aesthetic that promotes the idea of feeling comfortable in your own skin, which is why I chose an earth-toned color palette. I also enjoyed experimenting with the word ‘krem,’ playing on its resemblance to ‘cream,’ and drew inspiration from the concept of ice cream to design a poster highlighting the moisturiser and cleanser.

I have designed 3 social media posts to be used for their Instagram platform.

These include packaging design as well as the ice ‘krem’ concept implying they have ‘flavours’ for all skin types.

This design brief was assigned to me as part of an interview process for the Juicy Couture brand. The task involved creating three Instagram posts and a website banner to promote their jewelry collection for Valentine’s Day.

LOGO / BUSINESS CARD DESIGN

In addition to my primary work, I have started designing press-on nails with a focus on 3D art and playful, creative concepts. These nails are reusable and gentle on natural nails, designed to add flair to everyday activities—not just special occasions.

For the brand’s logo, I integrated my personal logo (RIYA), crafting it as if it were nail art on a set of press-ons. I also designed custom ‘thank you’ cards as well as ‘application’ and ‘removal’ instruction cards for each order, all created in Adobe Illustrator.

I have chosen red for the main branding colour because in my eyes, it is a timeless and classic nail polish colour.

CAFE

I love creating unforgettable experiences that bring people together, particularly in fashion, food, music, and culture.

With the rise of major fashion labels opening luxury and popup cafés, I propose designing an Axel Arigato café, inspired by the Swedish tradition of Fika. Fika, which stems from the word “kaffe” (coffee), is about pausing to connect, relax, and share a drink or snack. It fosters productivity, well-being, and meaningful connections—values that align seamlessly with Axel Arigato’s mission to transcend commerce and create memorable experiences.

The café concept embodies home, comfort, and community. Visitors would remove their shoes, showcasing Axel Arigato footwear on public shoe racks, and be provided with limited-edition slippers. Round tables enhance feng shui, promoting seamless conversation and connection.

Playing on Axel Arigato’s slogan, “GOOD THINGS COME IN YELLOW BOXES,” the café itself would resemble a yellow box, with all pastries and snacks packaged in signature yellow boxes bearing the slogan.

To align with the growing focus on mindfulness and well-being, the café would feature bespoke journals for visitors to reflect and practice gratitude. The quote “Be where your feet are” encapsulates the ethos of presence and grounding, perfectly reflecting Axel Arigato’s identity rooted in movement and trainers.

A glass roof will bring natural daylight, offer a view of the sky, and create a cozy ambiance with the soothing sound of rain for the café

Round tables paired with cushioned seating, soft pillows, and fluffy round rugs create a warm, inviting atmosphere that brings the cozy comfort of home to the café.

Shoe Rack – Upon entering the café, guests will be invited to remove their shoes and place them on a beautifully designed rack, transforming it into a unique centerpiece that showcases a variety of footwear, ideally featuring Axel Arigato shoes.
