The secure College network provides all students with Internet access and access to the College’s wide range of computer applications and subject specific software. Teachers, students and parents can also access resources from home via secure portals including Student Cafe, Parent Lounge and Teacher Kiosk. In addition, online learning during 2020’s COVID-19 lockdown was supported by online learning platforms such as Google Classroom and Microsoft Teams, meaning that teacher-led classes could continue in Years 5 to 12, with the College operating a normal timetable with these students during this time. Teaching at the College continues to be aided with the use of electronic roll marking, digital delivery of notices and the electronic submission of assessment items through the Learning Management System. In 2020, the College increased the number of staff notebooks being utilised across the Primary and Secondary School and for nonteaching staff in administrative roles. Parents continued to benefit from specific digital applications including a new College App powered by Digistorm software with an upgraded and more interactive user interface and a new company website with direct access to parent information portals and an interactive and real time news feature and events calendar.
