Community Service
Community Service and Service Learning forms a strong component of the College Mission. As an extension of the Christian Studies Program, initiatives supporting community events and needs are greatly encouraged. Many projects are undertaken by the Student Representative Council and by the Senior Student Leadership Team.
Although 2020 saw less projects and activities than previous years, the College still supported organisations such as the Salvation Army, World Vision, the Queensland Cancer Council and the Rural Fire Brigade.
Although there were not ANZAC Services in which students could participate in 2020, the College continued to enjoy a relationship with local community groups through the Beenleigh Junior Chamber of Commerce and the Gold Coast City Council.
Character development is also essential to our holistic program and the ethos of this College. Each week core values and virtues are discussed within the Pastoral Care program.
