Long-Term Recruitment AIESEC in Ukraine

What is Profile? Why do we need Talent Profile? How to use Talent Profile in Recruitment process Talent profile for LONG-TERM member Proposed selection framework

1. What is Profile? Why do we need Talent Profile? The key element of Talent Planning Process is THE PROFILE. The profile is clarifying who we are looking for, what are the characteristics of the people that we want in the organization. We are trying to look for the underlying competences & skills that new comers need in order to develop as top talents! What is the idea of Talent Profile? When we go about recruiting Talent for AIESEC, what we need to remember is that we are not necessarily looking for the best people in general but we are looking for people who will put in their best for AIESEC. This means discovering people, who would fit well with AIESEC’s culture, would be inclined to participate wholeheartedly in AIESEC’s activities and who would have a deep sense of commitment towards AIESEC’s goals & would be able to relate to them. It is not necessarily about finding people with the right experience. It's about finding people with the right mind-set. We need to recruit for attitude and train for skill. Nevertheless, the reality shows that we also need to pay more attention to the needs of the organization in terms of specific skills in order to ensure organizational performance and growth. So, due to: Talent analysis, X demands analysis and LC vice-presidents work during Summer Functional meeting, we defined the profile for AIESEC in Ukraine! The National Profile applies for all new people joining AIESEC.

2. How to use Talent Profile in Recruitment process? 1). Study carefully the competencies and skills which are required and need to be checked during selection process 2). You can customize the profile for your LC in terms of: - Preferred skills & competencies. The skills your LC might need depend on the LC reality, Talent (member) analysis & Talent Planning (for LC activities/projects).
