Vol verlangen kijken we uit naar de zomer, voelen we de kriebels van de lente. Lange warme zomeravonden aan het strand. Kijken hoe de zon onder gaat, hoe de lucht verkleurd van licht blauw naar roze gemengd met groen en geel. Gecombineerd met zanderig bruin. Dit prachtige romantische beeld zie je ook terug in de zomercollectie van Riffl e. Struinen langs de vloedlijn op zoek naar schelpjes of ander leven uit de zee. Luisterend met ons oor aan een schelp. Als je heel stil bent hoor je het ruisen van de zee. Blote voeten door het stromende water van de branding, glijden op een skimboard of over de golfj es springen. Draaien in de wind.
Riffl e heeft deze zomer veel soepel vallende geweven stoffen, die wat wijder vallen en lekker in de wind waaien. Veel korte broekjes en heel veel leuke tops. Wijdvallende sweaters met korte mouw in sweat met een stoere surf print. De ontwerpen blijven eenvoudig en geven de vrijheid aan het kind om er vrij in te spelen. Roesjes en smok details geven onze styles een feestelijk accent. Jurkjes met bijpassende bloomers, maar wij vinden het juist leuk om te mixen. De collectie is kleiner, maar krachtiger. Omdat de hele collectie met elkaar gecombineerd kan worden. Opvallend, maar bewust ingezet, is dat sommige styles alleen voor new born zijn en sommige pas starten bij maat 74. Alle items in single size.
Beach Hangout
Is it the attraction of the first rays of comforting sunshine? Our longing for the earlier morning light? Seabirds announcing the arrival of Spring? Long sultry summer nights? Simply watching the sun hide behind the horizon, changing the colors from light blue to pink, creating a fading green-ish and yellow-ish magic? Our daydreaming away, when we stare at our feet in pure untouched brown sand?
It is this romantic and appealing feeling that inspired Riffle’s SS25 collection. Wandering at high tide along the constantly moving line between the ocean and beach land, leaving behind all sorts of shells and other creatures from mother ocean. Connecting with the sound of the ocean holding a large shell next to your ear. Clear retreating seawater leaving behind small edges of sand on your bare feet, sliding on a skim board or jumping the waves. Playing with the wind, combing your hair while making pirouettes.
In the summer of 2025, Riffle’s fabrics are woven, subtle and are more baggy for the ultimate freedom of movement. Lots of short pants and aspirational tops. Boxy short-sleeved sweaters in sweat material with cool-chic surf prints. Dresses with bloomers, easily mixable with other pieces. All SS25 styles are in typical Riffle shapes and designs. Ruffles and smocked details give our fashionable pieces this special not me-too look and feel. This collection is smaller, yet more powerful. More mixable then before. Some styles are only for new born, and others start at 74. Single sizes for each style.
