Onze haren waaien om ons hoofd, de warme truien worden terug in de kast gelegd, de herfst doet langzaam zijn intreden. De mistige ochtenden en sluierende zon kleuren de hemel roze en lila. We blijven meer binnen, halen onze knutselwerkjes of handwerkjes te voorschijn. Onze creativiteit wordt aangesproken.

Our hair blows around our heads, the warm sweaters are put back in the closet, and autumn is slowly making its entrance. Misty mornings and a veiled sun paint the sky in pink and lilac hues. We spend more time indoors, bringing out our crafts and handiwork. Our creativity is sparked.

We kijken naar de oude kunstenaars, Mondriaan of Rietveld. Hoe zij uren bezig konden zijn met een schildersdoek. Met strakke hand worden er lijnen met verf en penseel neergezet. We slaan spijkers in een houten blokje en dopen de puntjes in de verf. Dutch Folklore; de kleine dotjes in het Staphorster stip design. Met veel precisie en aandacht wordt er samen aan iets moois gewerkt. Oude ambachten krijgen in de winter weer onze belangstelling. Je ziet het terug in de Riﬄe prints; strakke lijnen en vlakken, kleine stipjes die samen een patroon vormen. Zo blij worden we ervan dat de smiley niet mag ontbreken. We kruipen tegen elkaar aan, knuﬀelen onze besties, voelen ons samen sterk. Kom maar op met het leven!

Dit was de inspiratie voor de AW25 collectie van Riﬄe, het kleding merk gevestigd in Amsterdam. Kleurrijke prints, gecombineerd met neutrale warme, natuurlijke tinten. Fris lila is nieuw deze collectie. Alle prints bieden enorme mogelijkheden om leuke sets te maken. Enkele styles vallen wat wijder en makkelijke jersey’s die overal bij passen maken het af. De maatboog in enkele maten, newborn 50-92 en kids 98-128.

We look to the old masters, like Mondrian or Rietveld, and how they could spend hours on a canvas. With steady hands, they drew lines with paint and brushes. We hammer nails into a small wooden block and dip the tips in paint. Dutch Folklore: the tiny dots of the Staphorst dot design. With precision and care, we work together to create something beautiful. Old crafts capture our attention again during winter. You can see it reflected in the Riffle prints: clean lines and surfaces, small dots forming intricate patterns. We love it so much that we can’t leave out the smiley. We cuddle up, hug our besties, and feel strong together. Bring on life!

This was the inspiration for the AW25 collection by Riffle, the clothing brand based in Amsterdam. Vibrant prints combined with neutral, warm, natural tones. Fresh lilac is a new addition to this collection. All the prints offer endless possibilities to create fun outfits. Some styles have a looser fit, while easy jersey pieces that match everything complete the look. The size range is divided into newborn sizes 50-92 and kids sizes 98-128.
