MY painting process evolves by alternating layers of opacity and translucency. Described by many as either distant nebulae or firing neurons, these luminous layers of inter-connectivity seem to be part of the natural world and yet somehow, other. Undulating structures emerge from these luminous nebulae in a light which is emitted, rather than cast, revealing a form which describes rather than defines. Together, they address this odd encounter between the natural and perceived world by making no reference to scale and as a result, my paintings tend to hang more like questions rather than statements.
If the distinction between light and space can no longer be determined, what place is this? Where are we now?

Williams is an Australian born contemporary oil painter residing in Rowayton, Connecticut. Her paintings are lively expressions of landscapes, cities, figures and abstract themes. Building on a long-standing history that has led from ancient art and impressionism to the art of today, her paintings bring a sense of joy and light to the senses. Using gesture, line and form she communicates the majesty of our landscapes as she perceives them - full of movement and light. Jennifer has a way of mixing reality with a sense of fantasy. Upon entering her studio, one is invited to become immersed in her work. She captures the mystical beauty of the city streets in the moonlight, the long cast of the shadows in lower Manhattan, the warm glow of the Paris Cafes and the glitz of Times Square. Her technique of painting, texturing, glazing and extracting on metal enables the viewer to feel the energy and excitement of her landscapes. Her botanical paintings expertly capture the essence of free, uninhibited growth. In her compositions, recognizable plants mingle with botanical creations. Her vantage point sites the viewer directly within the midst of the plant-scape. Taking the perspective of an insect, one is surrounded by large, riotous flowers and intricate, uncontained vines that seem to spill beyond the edges of the canvas. She is a close observer of nature’s rhythms, patterns and revelations.

AS an artist, I believe in art for art’s sake. But as a member of humanity, I believe in art with purpose. As such, I use my work as a conduit for change and to foster awareness. My art is my voice.
“Nature has always spoken to me in quiet ways, but now I find there’s an inextricable link between me and the natural world that finds its voice in all my work.”
This sentiment holds true for my current work. The pandemic launched us into unprecedented times and my work is a reflection of this environment. Influenced by a climate of uncertainty, I look to find grounding and bring solace to those who struggle to find the light. My work seeks to take the viewer on a journey of self discovery. It speaks to the significance of family, community and compassion through an exploration of the past, present and future. In these tumultuous times, there is an opportunity to take stock of what’s important and find the silver lining among the darkness.

from Philadelphia and coming up during the vibrant 1980s, Matthew draws profound inspiration from the vivid palettes, substantial forms, and assertive strokes inherent in the graffiti milieu of that period. Currently refining their craft in the artistic community of Ridgefield, CT, he has found a nurturing environment to continue his creative journey.
His artistic style serves as a visual manifestation of the innermost sparks of his spirit, capturing an unwavering commitment to absolute independence and expressing his innate emotions through the language of bold color, cubism, and geometric abstraction. Coming from a creative family, he nurtured a lifelong passion for the arts. Geometric abstraction lets him channel his love for color and shift from art as a hobby to his vocation, aiming to foster connection and communication. His pieces fuse vivid colors, bold lines, and angular shapes, resulting in luminous and energetic narratives.

LILY Fertik is a contemporary artist, born in New York City. She studied commercial art/advertising at Ft. Lauderdale College, then followed the path of her first love, Claude Monet, to develop more fully as a visual artist. Having come from a long line of artists, art collectors and creatives, her appreciation of the bounty that is at the heart of an artist’s life has given her the courage to pursue her craft, despite challenges along the way. Lily is a talented expressionist who’s artistic style articulates the paradox of all that is both certain and uncertain. The contrast between what is complicated and what is clear and simple is beautifully framed in her images. In the Portal series, she shows the expansive beauty of color and contrast, while powerfully offering the chance to become grounded in her simple, clear, calm, use of basic colors. Through sight and sensibility, we are both transported and rooted at the same time. It is the great gift her paintings bring to the viewer.
Lily’s works naturally transpose emotional experience into visual form through the use of color, movement and medium. She incorporates different materials in her paintings to create context and contour and to express the energy of hope; moving one beyond current time and space. Lily works intuitively and expressively from a place of trained standards, while at the same time pushing past limitations, inviting freedom and potentiality.

GREGG Emery uses a combination of contrast and contradiction, Emery’s work is a constantly evolving cycle of completion & interruption. His use of circles, a frequent motif but subsequent metaphor, offer us a window to explore connection- layers of paint being dragged over and into other layers, color hiding just below the surface, palettes derived from the day-to-day. Centered in an understanding of humanity’s profound rippling effects on one another and our landscape, his carefully compassionate, meditative, & observational approach results in creation as richly diverse as the artist’s own inhabitance- immersed in the weave of New York City’s wildly intermingling human fabric, and rooted in a barefoot youth tilling soil & gathering wood along the border of Canada & the Akwesasne Mohawk Territory as well as spending time with his Quaker grandparents. Inspired by interactions with these familial settings, as well as the awe of the magnificent & mundane in his everyday life, Emery’s unending & earthly process is constantly disrupting itself; through use of destructive techniques such as ripping & water pouring, his work becomes at once meditative and spontaneous, interrupting the artist’s own technique, thought process, and control.
Redirection is further invited via co-creationa powerful statement that exploration finds depth in community. Emery’s paintings evoke the complexity & simplicity of effortful humanity- a theme that is reflected in his daily practice of guerrilla portrait sketching; deliberate, vulnerable, startling, patient, humble; a true capture of the beauty of and in others. Much like the halo found in such natural phenomena as the caldera or celestial occurrences, throughout the unknowable & chaotic, Emery’s work nurtures a deep love of repetition, sincerity, and familiarity, acknowledging every transformation that has brought us here.

LISA Kinzelberg is a fine artist in Chicago. Her latest series, “Cities of the World,” celebrates cities and towns around the globe, and offers a unique spin on the idea of a streetmap. While each work is an accurate, diagrammatic representation of the physical features of a city, Lisa also incorporates her take on the energy, feel and aesthetic of the places she renders.
Lisa’s work marvels at how we attach deep, personal meaning to any particular “place” -- she shows us how profound it is that the places we inhabit have their own character, history, personal meaning and compelling existence in our hearts and minds that far exceeds the sum of its parts.
The series has been placed into several prominent private collections, and is currently exhibiting at Virgil Catherine Gallery in Hinsdale, Illinois and D. Colabella Fine Art Gallery in Ridgefield, Connecticut, who sold out her “Cities” show at Art Basel Miami, Scope.
Lisa is the cover of PARK Magazine NY Winter 2025 Issue and was featured on The Voice of New York / I HeartRadio and CanvasRebel Magazine for “Cities of the World.”
She has previously been featured by Miami Living Magazine, North Shore Modern Luxury, Hinsdale Living and was the cover of Sheridan Road Magazine, North Shore Chicago.

Anouk is a British / Dutch contemporary artist practicing hyperrealism drawing using coloring pencils. She merges several styles including fine art, photorealism, surrealism and pop art. Her work is influenced by shine and sculpture-like objects and distorting them in her own way. Be it through the use of slime or plastic as references, or playing with scale, it is hard to believe her work is a drawing!
A big lover of Dalí’s absurd and surreal style, Gabriella says, “The juxtaposition of a beautiful, natural piece of fruit against synthetic, almost vulgar, shiny slime is so attractive and interesting to me.”
Gabriella has developed her creativity across social media platforms and is hugely influential and inspirational introducing many of her 500k followers to art for the first time, whilst sharing the development of her practice.
She has an international profile with collectors in UK, Europe, USA, Hong Kong and Middle East.
