Richmond Montessori School
For over fifty five years Richmond Montessori School (RMS) has remained dedicated to providing an authentic Montessori education in a student-centered environment and has remained true to the mission of its founders and the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori. RMS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) independent school duallyaccredited by the American Montessori Society and the Virginia Association of Independent Schools. The school serves approximately 320 students ages 18 months to 14 years on two adjacent campuses, which incorporate eleven acres of beautiful green space, located in the west end of Richmond, Virginia. The RMS team includes a diverse group of passionate faculty and staff, fully committed to our core values of Character, Community, Authenticity, Respect and Excellence.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
The Enrichment team member understands and strives to meet the developmental needs of the children in their care and demonstrates respect for the individual child. The optimum candidate is a team player committed to collegial collaboration and who enjoys planning engaging activities for children after-school. MONTESSORI ENRICHMENT
THE POSITION:
PRIMARY PART-TIME TEAM MEMBER
Shift: 3pm-6pm Monday through Friday
Working with ages 3-6 years old
Planning engaging & diverse activities for students, daily. Follow all VDOE child care licensing requirements
Prepare the environment to foster independence

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT, 1-2 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A LICENSED CHILD CARE FACILITY DESIRED
FAMILIARITY WITH LICENSING STANDARDS IN VIRGINIA.
FAMILIARITY WITH GOOGLE TECHNOLOGY & THE MONTESSORI PHILOSOPHY IS A PLUS!
