Angelo Rea, an apprentice master blender at Queen Creek Olive Mill, divides his wardrobe into work and play. As part of the family that owns and runs Queen Creek Olive Mill, Rea finds himself dressing simple yet professional as a face of the brand. “On the weekends, I’ll rock floral shirts, black jeans and a denim jacket. My work look is definitely more refined and professional – some like to call it ‘farm chic!’” he says. Olive oil isn’t the only thing Rea is pioneering in Arizona. He also likes to be the first to try new styles. “I love making a statement,” he says. “Bright colors and bold patterns are my go-to.” Besides being a frequent shopper at Bonobos thanks to their comfortable, classic and sophisticated staples, his favorite place for online shopping is Nordstrom Rack. The most prized fashion element in Rea’s closet? His Hawaiian shirt collection, which he has been curating for years. When it comes to living in the desert, Rea says fairly stable weather makes his fashion choices much easier. His best fashion advice is to be comfortable and be yourself, and for the stylish olive oil expert, sometimes that means wearing a pair of Thursday boots every day of the week.
What would someone say if they looked in your closet? “Why do you have so many boots?” What is your must-have item when it comes to fashion? Well-fitted pants – 7 For All Mankind on the weekend and Bonobos during the week. Do you consider yourself a trendsetter? I guess I’ve never really thought about it. My friends constantly copy my outfits so, yes, maybe I am!
