Filton Town Council Swimming lessons at Filton We offer a large swimming programme, with more than 60 hours of group lessons and a variety of aquatic based activities taking place throughout the week. We accommodate any ability from complete beginner, all the way up to the competitive swimmer. Our swimming teachers are recognised as some of the best in Bristol and will work with you to reach your goals, at whatever level. Ensure that your children grow up to be strong and confident swimmers – get them swimming early! We offer a fantastic range of quality children’s swimming lessons throughout the year. Our children’s swimming lessons follow the Swim England (formerly ASA) Learn to Swim Framework. The programme is
delivered by qualified Level 2 swimming teachers, and covers the basics of swimming for children, through to gaining complete confidence in the water.

Last year we were pleased to announce that the refurbishment work is now completed in the Doug Daniels Pavilion and skittle alley. We are extremely happy with the results and we are looking forward to the future in a much more modern atmosphere. The pavilion works comprised of new glazed windows to replace the aging metal doors, with new flooring and toilets and kitchen. There are all new electrics, lighting and new suspended ceiling as well as being re-decorated. The skittle alley now has a modern feel with a new seating area, suspended ceiling and a brand new skittle alley and viewing area. There is now access to a coffee machine so you can now sit and enjoy a coffee overlooking the pools. Both the pavilion and skittle alley are now available to hire.
