CLT Practice Exam–Self-Proctoring Guide

Take a moment to ensure your desk is clear other than your test booklet (pulled up on your screen is fine), your answer sheet, a pencil, and your timing device.

Write out the following outline on a spare piece of paper:

Use the guides on the right side of the page to fill in the time limits for each section.

Please only fill in extended time if you have already been approved for it through CLT.

CLT Practice Exam timing section 1 - verbal reasoning minutes Start Time: End Time:

Standard Time: 40 minutes 1.5 Time: 60 minutes Double Time: 80 minutes

section 2 - grammar minutes Start Time: End Time:

Standard Time: 35 minutes 1.5 Time: 53 minutes Double Time: 70 minutes

10 minute break Choose a timer: If you are going to use your cell phone as a timer, place the device into airplane mode before opening the timer app. Ensure the notification sound is on to notify you of the end time.

section 3 - mathematics minutes Start Time: End Time:

Standard Time: 45 minutes 1.5 Time: 68 minutes Double Time: 90 minutes

If you have an external timer, ensure the sound is on to notify you of the end time.

Set your timer for the time limit of section 1, write down the start time of the section – turn your test booklet to the start of section 1, read the directions, and begin!

CLT Practice Exam–Self-Proctoring Guide

There is no break between Section 1 and Section 2, so at the end time of Section 1, go ahead and reset your timer for the limit you wrote down for section 2, turn your test booklet to the start of Section 2, read the directions and begin.

At the end time of Section 2 - Grammar, you may begin your 10 minute break. Be sure to get up out of your seat, use the bathroom, have a snack, and hydrate. Do NOT open browser tabs in your computer or access apps other than your timer on your phone.

At the end of your break, reset your timer for the limit you wrote down for Section 3 Mathematics. Turn your test booklet to the start of Section 3, read the directions and begin. No calculator is allowed.

Score your exam: Upon completion of your exam, follow the following set of instructions to submit your test for scoring: 1. Find the blue “Share” button at the top right of your spreadsheet.

2. Find the “Restricted” dropdown and change to “Anyone with the link,” then click “Copy Link” or the link icon.

3. Scan the QR code at right to open the answer sheet submission form, fill it out, paste the link to your answer sheet, and submit!

You will recieve your results within three business days.
