CHANGING THE GAME These days, boundaries of segments are regularly crossed and broken; changing the game for good. More motorcycles are being created for multiple purposes, instead of being built for one specific endeavor.

That’s exactly what we want to achieve with our new Spring Summer 2017 collection. It’s meant for you to look good, wherever you go and whatever you ride.

We drew inspiration from urban sportswear and then integrated our REV’IT! technology and safety.

Our collection is not the only thing that is game changing. So was our photoshoot. We sent passioned REV’IT! riders on a four-day trip to capture them in their natural habitat. Real people in real situations meant that even our photographers had to get down and dirty. The result is the most authentic set of photos we have ever had.

ENGINEERED SKIN® Design method

TAILORED TECHNOLOGY Design methodology

Inspired by the natural qualities of the skin, REV’IT! has developed the unique Engineered skin® design method to improve the fit and performance of motorcycle safety apparel. The result is an ergonomic, pre-shaped product that is capable of handling extreme pressure and offers the best balance of protection and comfort.

The Tailored Technology philosophy combines our years of experience and deep-rooted technical knowledge with our abiding love for fashion and design. The Tailored Technology concept incorporates essential road protection and functional details into REV’IT!’s stylish and elegant urban collection.

REV’IT! began developing its Engineered skin® design method back in 2001, when it set out to improve the functional performance of materials by relocating seams outside and away from high-impact zones. This innovative concept further evolved with advances in 3D design, new patterns and construction techniques.

Today, the principles of Engineered skin® can be found in almost every item REV’IT! develops. This indicates our commitment to safety, quality, and design. Engineered skin® has already made a significant mark on the motorcycle apparel industry, and this dynamic design philosophy will continue to influence future REV’IT! product development for years to come. All REV’IT! products are designed following the Engineered skin® philosophy that consists of three core principles: safety, functionality, design. The urban collection, however, is created according to the Tailored Technology design credo, which uses the same REV’IT! core principles, albeit with a different priority; one that puts design first, followed by safety and functionality. All three principals are equally important in both philosophies; only the sequence in which they are applied and the vision per design differs.

Products with the Tailored Technology label are designed to integrate into daily life, combining just the right amount of fashionable detailing with cleverly disguised safety and functional features.

These products provide both safety and comfort without sacrificing style. The result is a truly unique range of motorcycle apparel that is as sophisticated and stylish as it is functional and safe.

REV’IT! SEESMART™

REV’IT! SEESOFT™

Specifically developed for use in urban motorcycle gear, SEESMART™ limb protection offers the highest level of flexibility while passing the EN1621-1:2012 CE-Level 1 impact tests, also in hot conditions (T+) (+40 degrees Celcius / 104 degrees Fahrenheit).

The Seesmart RV34 ridged version that is used in our leather jackets even passes the EN1621-1:2012 CE-Level 1 impact tests in (T+) and cold (T-) (-10 degrees Celcius / 14 degrees Fahrenheit) conditions.

REV’IT! engineered the SEESOFT™ back protector insert with the aim to create a low profile, flexible and breathable back protector with the highest, CE-Level 2 certification. The result is a non-distracting, pliable mechanism that can absorb multiple impacts without compromising comfort, ventilation and freedom of movement.

TWO TONE BUFFALO LEATHER The two tone buffalo leather used for this jacket has received a dying and waxing treatment during tumbling. This treatment permits the color to seep in, allowing the wax to give the leather its natural shine.

NAPLES DRUM DYED SEMI ANILINE COWHIDE The Naples is colored to perfection. The top finish has received a treatment of various waxes that are applied to create a specific reaction during tumbling in heat. This gives the leather a soft and flexible feel and an elegant appearance to match.

LANE - VEGETABLE TANNED BUFFALO LEATHER The base of this leather is lighter than the top, and through a process of washing and tumbling, the natural-looking leather appears to have withstood years of use - right off the shelf.

INVISIBLE PROTECTION Our in-house developed SEESMART™ protectors are incorporated into all the jackets from this collection.

The extremely thin, flexible character offers maximum comfort with CE-rated protection. You won’t feel or see them when the jackets are on, but they sure live up to the task of protecting you in case of an unfortunate mishap.

For this leather collection, we designed the SEESMART™ RV34 shoulder protector, which is a more rigid version of our existing SEESMART™ RV31. The RV34 is certified for hot (T+) and cold (T-) conditions. Furthermore, we prepared all the jackets to accommodate our SEESOFT™ CE-level 2 back protector insert and used safety stitching over each entire jacket to ensure the sum of the constructed parts adds up to an extremely strong, motorcycleready outer shell.

BISON OVERSHIRT Thanks to our renowned hydratex® membrane, the shirt is fully waterproof. We reinforced the polyester canvas on the shoulders and elbows with our PWR | shield* to create an extremely strong and abrasion-resistant product. To keep the heat away on warmer days, we installed an adjustable ventilation panel at the center back.

The 11 oz. CorduraÂŽ denim, combined with PWR | shield* knit on the shoulders and elbows, takes care of the abrasion resistance, which together outclasses leather.

The mechanical stretch of the material and use of action pleats at the back add comfort.

*PWR | SHIELD PWR | shield is created with a unique knit technique which results in a fabric with unsurpassed cut, tear and abrasion resistance level. THERE IS MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE The toe, heel and ankle areas have been reinforced for safety. These reinforced locations protect riders’ feet and contribute to better foot position without sacrificing comfort. The shoes have been fashioned from the finest leather, making them tough yet comfortable. Additionally, the materials used are highly abrasion-resistant and durable, yet naturally adaptable to various conditions.

Shoes with laces have gusseted tongues to keep out wind, water and dirt. Shoes with zippers have a v-flap behind the zipper for the same purpose. The leather won’t mar when you shift gears as the shoes are equipped either with a gearshift pad or come with a shifter strap.

The ultimate crossover HYDRATEX® MEMBRANE

THIS YEAR, WE DECIDED TO MIX URBAN AND ADVENTURE INTO OUR SAND® DESIGN. IT RESULTED IN SOMETHING COMPLETELY NEW IN THE MOTORCYCLE INDUSTRY: THE SAND® URBAN. It’s a cross between highly functional adventure gear and the polished pieces from our Tailored Technology collection; thus opening an entirely new segment of riding attire.

A DIFFERENT TYPE OF CAMOUFLAGE VENTILATION ZIPPERS

By balancing form and functionality, we created a crossover jacket that is perfect for outdoor adventure riding but also for moving through the urban environment. The tone-on-tone design, combined with the black details featured on the adjustment straps and zippers give the Sand® Urban its air of utility without calling too much attention to it.

A BALANCED MIX The installed SEEFLEX™ protectors give riders the highest level of protection, while the soft and open structure offers comfort and ventilation in any environment.

BRINGING CASUAL SPORTS TO THE STREETS With the Blake and Blake Air, we introduce yet another motorcycle clothing segment that speaks to the demands of many riders who don’t mind showing off their biking tendencies as long as they can combine them with practical use.

FEATURES The Blake is ideal for summer riding, and hints towards use in spring and autumn.

The Blake Air, however, is all about summer and warm weather riding and lives up to its name through the use of 3D Air mesh. This allows air to flow right through, making it perfect for hot days.

PROTECTION In the most important impact areas, both the Blake and the Blake Air jacket have been constructed with top-quality, highly abrasion-resistant Monaco Performance Cowhide leather, as seen in our racing products.

Other areas of the Blake are reinforced with our strong PWR | shell material to create a balanced combination of leather and textile.

The jackets are constructed with safety stitching and safety seams, meaning they can withstand proper use and abuse beyond what their purposeful look may declare.
