CEO CARMEN FIGUEROA A. This year until November, it has been a difficult year for migrant women, women of war. There is still a tremendous gap between men and women regarding salary. Not all countries have managed to have a female president, but I can say that at least there are more female deputies and senators. In addition, there have been slow changes but changes. Even so, we need more education for girls, more financial education for women, more support in entrepreneurship with money or opportunities, the stress that a single woman experiences raising her children is very difficult, more complex if she has several children. We need to create a better system for ourselves, including being safe on the street, because even during the day no one feels safe, especially at night. We get shocked, including myself, if a man gets too close and here I am not saying that all men are bad or even criminals, but there is a high crime rate in men. So we have a great job ahead of us, which is to combat ignorance, machismo, the lack of opportunities for women and even the lack of opportunities that other women do not give to their gender. Also support good men, have responsible upbringing with male children and educated upbringing for girls where they seek to be self-sustaining themselves. Creating a better world is being brave and changes are hard, there is no point in just supporting drastic changes or new laws if we still have an archaic mentality, if jealousy or envy consume work relationships between women, change is being better and to be able to provide a different world to girls.
