britanysimon
Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, luxury interior designer Britany Simon is known for her distinctive, fashion-forward approach to creating timeless spaces. Her award-winning work for Britany Simon Design House is celebrated for its refined aesthetic and attention to detail. Since launching her career in 2004, she has brought her vision to life for a diverse range of clients, crafting spaces that are not only beautiful but also deeply personal and transformative. Britany’s designs have been featured in top publications, and she has co-hosted popular shows on HGTV, Travel Channel, Bravo, and FYI Network.
BRITTANY SIMON’S ARTISTIC ESCAPE
Inspired by a love of Paris as her “forever muse,” Britany envisioned her My Rowe Design as a place for embracing the art of beautiful living. “I imagined a pied-à-terre that belonged to the version of myself who gets to live a little bolder,” explains the designer, “filled with curated finds, daring palettes, and expressive artwork.” To achieve this vision, she layered the sitting area with rich colors, tactile fabrics, and unexpected juxtapositions that evoke a sense of collected history. A luxurious peach velvet Dimitry Sectional anchors the space, perfectly positioned by the fireplace for cozy social gatherings.

Elevated Eclectic

“The Dimitry Sectional’s bold color makes it playful and fun, and reflects my personality — a little daring.”

From captivating sculptures to tables perfect for gatherings, every detail reflects Britany’s vision of the occupant as an enchanting hostess. "She's a global creative," the designer explains, "probably wearing something totally unique and fabulous, and always entertaining." This vignette aims to encourage others to craft their own design narratives with Rowe, creating spaces that are full of life, art, and the allure of distant places — perhaps even the City of Lights.

“I am loving all the Rowe pieces [that have] a classic silhouette, but with a slightly more contemporary

Fashion, especially editorial fashion and the latest runway show. I’m also forever inspired by fine art, ceramics, old figurative sketches and paintings. And travel — I'm always craving to see something new.
Living spaces — they set the tone for the whole home. I love the challenge of making them feel chic but lived-in, layered but functional. It’s where people gather, so it’s where the magic happens.

Mix high and low, but always thoughtfully
Every space needs tension; a little contrast keeps it interesting
Layer your lighting — sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, etc
Break the matching set rule — matching is rarely memorable
Design should tell a story, not just match a mood board
There’s just something extra special about Paris, even a simple walk to a café feels like a visual love affair. Every detail is intentional — every doorway, every railing. It’s the best design class you’ll ever take.
Depending on my mood, I might go more mellow like RY X or Labrinth, or if I am feeling like I need a creative pick-me-up, I may listen to Fred Again or Rufus Du Sol.

Julianne Hendrickson
Tampa, FL hendricksoninteriors
Hendrickson Interiors was created in 2016, based on founder Julianne Hendrickson’s dedication to elegant interiors designed for comfortable living. Today, what began as a passion has grown into a full-service interior design firm serving clients throughout Central Florida and beyond. Julianne finds inspiration in many places — from bold modern color just as much as soft, monochromatic textiles, and seeing the beauty in both antique and contemporary pieces. Most importantly, she believes a home should never feel like a museum. It should be lived in, and above all, a place where people can gather comfortably and feel at ease.
Julianne’s My Rowe Design draws its inspiration from the elegance of a traditional parlor room, reimagined with a more modern, feminine aesthetic. Envisioning “a confident, stylish hostess who loves to entertain,” she designed this space with fun and connection in mind. The refined palette of chestnut, burnt orange and plum shades feels warm and immersive, enveloping guests in a space where luxury meets leisure. Nowhere is this more evident than the Madeline Sofa, resplendent in rust velvet that accentuates its classic lines and deep comfort. The result is a space that radiates sophistication while retaining a playful, contemporary energy — “the perfect backdrop for evenings of cocktails, conversation, and gaming with friends,” says the designer.

“Comfortable, stylish, and functional, [the Wrenn Chairs] are the perfect anchor for both lounging and entertaining.”

Nestled cozily next to the fireplace are a pair of velvet Wrenn Swivel Chairs, which Julianne notes are her favorite in the space. “They’re incredibly versatile — easy to tuck into any spot in the home,” she explains, “while their retro-inspired, multicolored fabric adds a playful punch of personality.”
Equal parts comfortable, stylish, and functional, these chairs embody the balance of chic design and livable ease that defines the space. Most importantly, the room offers a fresh interpretation of the traditional parlor —once reserved as a men’s retreat—as a luxe, feminine haven.

"The
Ellice Day Lounger is a piece I’d love to use in a future project — it’s incredibly versatile, fitting seamlessly into a living room, lounge, or bedroom. With the right fabric, it can instantly transform its look, making it a true statement piece."

Ellice Day Lounger
Drapery should always be included
Scale and balance should always be appropriate
There should always be a place for your drink
While spaces should have character, a focus on being timeless is important
Practicality is just as important as beauty
Sources of Inspiration
Fashion and travel are my greatest sources of inspiration. Fashion influences the way I think about texture, color, and layering, while travel expands my perspective— immersing me in new cultures, architecture, and ways of living that inevitably find their way into my designs.
Room to Design
I love designing powder baths. They’re small but impactful, a chance to be bold and playful in a space every guest will see.
Travel Destination
Paris is my favorite place to visit. I’m endlessly inspired by its high fashion and timeless shopping experiences, but just as much by the European way of life—where beauty, culture, and everyday moments are savored with intention.
Music to Fuel Creativity
90s music always fuels my creativity—think Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, and Boyz II Men ballads.
