Josh started with RE/MAX Aboutowne in 2011, and has been running our marketing department ever since as our Creative Director. Josh has helped countless of our agents over time with various types of jobs. Whether it is a simple flyer or creating a new brand for one of our agents or teams to grow into, Josh can guide you in the right direction for the next steps in your marketing, step by step.

His brilliance in artwork and engaging visuals has elevated countless real estate marketing efforts. Known for his innate creativity, attention to detail and organization and dedication to making every design stand out, Josh is a remarkable designer.

Beyond design, Josh cherishes spending time with his family, his wife and two daughters, when he’s not crafting impactful visuals for our team.

For over a dozen years, Chrystal has provided the brokerage with brilliant artwork and engaging visuals to help elevate their real estate marketing efforts.

After graduating from Seneca College, Chrystal combined her eye for details with her passion for photography and quickly built a reputation for her stunning selection of portraits and nature shots. She became a Visual Merchandising Assistant where she applied her talents and was recognized as one of the top in her field. Her innate creativity and willingness to go the extra mile to make everything she does stand-out makes her a remarkable designer and she continues to develop her skills to deliver extraordinary presentations and advertisements for the team.

When she’s not constructing masterpieces on photoshop, Chrystal loves spending time with her two children and getting behind the camera to shoot footage of whatever catches her eye.

We are professional graphic designers who use state of the art software including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign primarily in the Creative Cloud Suite from Adobe. We are also well versed with popular programs like Canva.

Everything we create is done with a high level of attention to detail, there is a variety of small things to get right in design to ensure every item prints well with high resolution and correct colour, and every digital item fits the space well with accurate pixel dimensions and resolution.

Even with all the right tools the best thing we can offer is experience. Over the years and through multiple jobs we have created an eye for what looks terrific. What fonts to use, colours, use of white space, balance all go into making you look professional.

Branding

Whether you are happy to be using more standard RE/MAX designs, or want something entirely custom, we start with exploring your brand, what you want potential clients to see over and over, what you want it to say about you. Postcards/ Mailing Items

Whether you want to get some quick postcards printed to walk in the neighbourhood with or work on a large quantity that we will help with sending out through Canada Post to a farming route, we can help. If you have tried getting some postcards delivered by Canada Post to unaddressed properties before, you know its unfortunately not the simplest process.

Mailed items are usually postcards or monthly newsletters, but we can look at notepads, magnets, and other similar items. For door-knocking, again we often use postcards as they are the most affordable and quickest to print, but we have created many doorhangers and other items that work well when canvassing a neighbourhood.

Presentations

As important as it is to market yourself to get calls and meetings, it is just as important to show up to those meetings prepared. We help create professionally designed presentations to make you stand out against the rest. They have a wealth of information and can be the difference between landing that listing or being passed over for the next agent they visit. These decisions for clients can come down to how organized and professional they think you are.

Creating an excellent presentation can take time, that is why we have generic listing and buying presentations already produced, we can easily add in your photo, a little bit about you and what you offer and print quickly or send a digital flipbook link for your next meeting.

Also if you prefer we are familiar with making many custom ones as well whether it is for print, or a digital presentation using Powerpoint, Keynote or any other program of your choice displayed on tablets or TV’s.

At RE/MAX Aboutowne Marketing we produce high quality prints in-house at our marketing area in the head office at 1235 North Service Road West, Suite 100 in Oakville.

We can print on card stock and produce brochures, flyers, postcards, CMA’s and presentations. We can coil-bound booklets or have them saddle-stitched, which is stapled in the middle similar to small magazines.

We can produce all of these quickly having the tools in-house, and anything that is larger quantity or jobs we can not to do we are happy to organize sending it out to professional printers on your behalf. We often use Oakville Blueprinting, who delivers to our office for free, and other larger online printers like Vista Print and E Print Fast. Simply put, we will find you the best option for printing to save you time and money.

Social Media

Creating a social media presence can be vital to your business in real estate. Our goal is to help you at whatever level you are at to either guide or take it over for you.

Canva has become a great tool for regular business owners, and professionals alike. We have agents who want some help with producing social media content so we create templates that match their brand and send a video on how to edit them so they can continue to do on their own in Canva. We help them with profile photos and banners to ensure their social media presence looks professional.
