Guest Services
We hope the following information helps to make your vacation a pleasant one.
• Check out time is 10:00 AM and check in time is 4:00 PM. Please check out promptly so our staff has adequate time to clean and prepare the unit for the next Guests.
1. Please make sure the unit is tidy with dishes washed, dried, and put away. The oven and stove should be wiped clean and the refrigerator free of food and wiped out. All towels and linens should be placed in the bathtub or on the bathroom floor. Also, please be sure all trash is removed from the unit. Excessive cleaning charges may be applied if your unit is found in unsatisfactory condition upon inspection.
2. Please set the thermostat to 73 degrees in the summer and 60 degrees in the winter upon departure.
3. Return all keys to Guest Services or Security upon departure. There is a $25 fee for lost keys.
• Maximum occupancy is for a two bedroom unit is six (6) people. This is mandated by the Dare County Health Department. Occupancy count must include children. Violation is grounds for immediate eviction.
• If you are transferring to another unit at the end of the week, please bring this to the attention of Guest Services at check-in so that we may schedule a convenient cleaning time. You may remain in the unit until you are notified that your new unit is ready. We are happy to help you with your bags, if needed.
• Please report any service or maintenance issues to Guest Services at 252-2613837 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM every day or to Security at 252-202-9810, as soon as the issues are discovered. We would like to fix the issue as soon as conveniently possible for you.
• Please keep doors and windows closed while running the air conditioning or the heat. Excessive use leads to increased expenses and will cause equipment malfunction.
• Please refrain from hanging anything, including beach towels, over the deck railings.
• Glass items are not permitted in or around the pool area.
Guest Services
• Absolutely no soliciting on the property.
• No smoking is allowed in any unit. Violators will be fined $300 and face immediate eviction.
• There are two shelter areas on the property, equipped with charcoal grills, designated for grilling out. Grills of any kind (other than resort property), open fires and fireworks are all forbidden.
• Please drive slowly through the resort and watch for children playing.
• Skateboards, roller blades, and drones are not permitted on the property.
• For your safety and well-being, we strongly urge you to cross the 158 bypass at the traffic light on Eckner Street for beach access. Beach parking is available along Highway 12 at the beach accesses free of charge on a first come, first served basis.
• Guests must be 21 years of age or older to check-in.
• Anyone under the age of 21 years who is found drinking alcoholic beverages on the property will be reported to the Kitty Hawk Police Department.
• Any willful abuse of Sea Scape property or equipment will not be tolerated.
• Sea Scape Beach & Golf Villas is NOT responsible for damage caused by misdirected golf balls. Sea Scape Beach & Golf Villas will not provide medical payment, insurance or property damage coverage to owners or guests.
• Quiet Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
• We ask that guests do not play basketball after 10:00 PM.
This agreement is not intended to take away from your fun and relaxation while you are on your vacation. We hope that this will provide a safe and happy environment while you are enjoying your stay at Sea Scape Beach & Golf Villas. In order to protect and enforce the rights of our owners, there will be a $100 penalty, unless otherwise specified, for infraction of the above items.

Orientation
Every Monday morning at 9:00 AM, Owners and Guests are invited for a “Meet & Greet”. You will have an opportunity to sign up for activities for the week while enjoying fresh coffee, fruit juice, doughnuts, and bagels.
Meet the Manager
Every Monday at 10:00 AM, Immediately following orientation Owners can meet the Manager upstairs in the Recreation Center to find out what’s going on at the resort.
Fishing
Any person 16 and older who wants to fish recreationally in any water designated as coastal and joint waters of North Carolina must purchase a fishing license. This does not apply if you are fishing on Kitty Hawk, Avalon, Nags Head or Jennette Fishing Piers.

Laundry
There are two free laundry facilities on site. Laundry #1 is located between the D and G buildings and Laundry #2 is located between the O and Q buildings. Laundry room hours are 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Please report any malfunctions/repairs to Guest Services or Security at 252-261-3837. Do not leave clothes or cleaning supplies unattended. Sea Scape Beach & Golf Villas is not responsible for theft. We ask that you clean lint filters after each load. The Recreation Department has laundry detergent and fabric softener for sale.

Parking
Complimentary parking is available for all registered guests. The resort is not responsible for items left in the vehicles on resort property. RV parking will not be permitted.
Pet Policy
Pets are NOT allowed on Sea Scape premises. If pets are found on property, there will be a fee of $200 per pet and immediate eviction. We recommend boarding your pet with Coastal Animal Hospital (252-261-3960) or Martin’s Point Veterinary Hospital (252-261-2250).
Service animals are permitted with proper documentation.
Recreation
Our Recreation Center is open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM and offers various interactive activities. The center is fully equipped for your fitness needs including:
• An indoor pool and jacuzzi.
• Game room with two pool tables, foosball table, ping pong table, shuffleboard, juke box, computer and printer with internet access.
• DVD Players are available at the recreation center desk.
• Theater Room – movies are shown weekly.
• Tennis rackets, miniature golf, basketball, shuffleboard, paddleball, pickle ball, corn hole and much more.
• Outdoor playground area.
• There are two outdoor pools open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:45 PM through the summer season unless posted differently. Children 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. No glass is permitted in the pool areas. There is no lifeguard on duty.
Recreation equipment is available for use on a first-come-first-serve basis. Inventory is limited.
Recycling
Sea Scape values our beautiful environment! Please help us by shutting lights off when not in your unit and turning off fans when they are not in use. We ask that our guests please keep the thermostat set at appropriate settings for the weather. We offer a recycling dumpster near the H Building.

Call 252-261-3837 Ext. 1001 for future stays, weekend getaways and winter specials. There is a 3-night minimum on all rentals.
Electric Vehicles
Sea Scape does not offer charging stations for Electric Vehicles. At no time should extension cords be run from the Villas. The Front Office has a list of locations for your convenience.

Local calls are free. You must first dial 9 and then the phone number in order to make a local call.
There is a long distance block on direct calls. Please use a credit card or call collect by using 800-225-5288.

Safety & Security
Your safety and the security of your personal property are of the utmost concern to those of us who welcome you as our guest. We urge you to take advantage of the following suggestions.
Admittance
Do not admit persons to your room without first making identification. If there is any doubt about the person’s true identity, please contact Guest Services or Security.
Keys
Do safeguard your key. Be sure to leave it with the Front Desk or Security upon departure. Do not leave it in the room or in the door. Do not give your key to others.
Fire
Please familiarize yourself with the location of the nearest fire exit stairway. In the unlikely event of a fire, please move quickly but calmly to the stairs. Report fire or smoke to the Front Office or Security.
Fire Safety Procedures
Like all buildings, resorts can have fires. Plan what to do when you check in. You won’t have time to plan during a fire.
First, find two exits nearest your room. Be sure they are unblocked.
Then, count doors between your room and exits, so you’ll have a reference point if it is smoky.
When you hear an alarm, act – don’t investigate.
If the fire is in your room, get out and close the door. Once out, report the fire.
If the fire is not in your room, leave if you can. First, feel your door. If it is cool, open it slowly and go to the nearest exit. Crawl in smoke. Fresh air will be at the floor. Take your key so you can get back in if you can’t use the exits.
If your door is hot, don’t open it. Your room may be the safest place to be. Seal all cracks with wet towels. Shut off fans and air conditioners. Signal at your window. Call the Fire Department and wait to be rescued.
Sea Scape Beach and Golf Villas Harassment Policy
Applies to all Unit Week owners, renters, occupants, and their respective invitees of Sea Scape Beach and Golf Villas and acknowledges they shall not engage in any abusive or harassing behavior, whether written, verbal or physical, or any form of intimidation or aggression directed at other Unit Week owners, renters, occupants, or their respective invitees, or directed at the Board of Directors, the Management Agent, or their respective employees, agents, or vendors.

Hurricane Procedures
Unfortunately, June through November is Hurricane Season. Listed below are procedures you will need to follow to assure your safety in the event of an evacuation notice.
1. PLEASE take all valuables with you. The Resort or Property Management Company is NOT responsible for personal items lost or stolen.
2. Clean out your refrigerator and remove all perishable items, as the electricity will be turned off during an evacuation and all food items will spoil. Please take your food items with you or dispose of them properly.
3. Please return your unit keys to Guest Services or Security.
4. Please evacuate AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! This allows our employees ample time to secure the Resort. Our employees cannot leave until YOU leave. Please be considerate of this.
5. Before a hurricane arrives, there are usually gusts of high winds; the Resort or Property Management Company is not responsible for damage to personal property caused by flying debris.
Dare County has two Evacuation Routes: US Hwy. 64/264 West and US Hwy. 158 North.
• Don’t wait to evacuate.
• Routes become congested as the storm approaches.
• There are no American Red Cross approved shelters in Dare County.
• Inland shelter locations will be broadcast on local radio stations.
• Bridges close and ferry services cease with winds over 40 miles per hour.
