Těžko se hledal favorit v tomto střetnutí. Libertas byl při losování nasazený tým, tak tíha favorita ležela nejspíše na něm. Začátek zápasu ale patříl jasně Osasuně, na soupeře vlétla a španělé nevěděli kam dříve skočit. Po pár minutách vstřelil Django parádní gól po spolupráci se Zli Gli. Brankář a asi nejlepší komentátor el_vaquero musel brzy tahat míč se své svatyně. V druhé půli dokázali španělé vyrovnat, ale hned poté Zli Gli protlačil z roho vše co mu stálo v cestě a znovu poslal Osasunu do vedení. Do konce zápasu už gól nepadl a tak první zápas vyhrála Osasuna těsně 2:1. Do druhého zápasu nastoupil v bráně za Libertas Gandalfiti a úvod mu příliš nevyšel. Hned po 3. minutách se nechal lehce zmást Djangem, který znovu otevřel skóre zápasu na 1:0. Libertas se ještě pokoušeli v poločase znovu vystřídat brankáře, ale ani to jim nepomohlo a v druhém zápase už další gól nepadl. Tento zápas vyhrála Osasuna znovu těsně, tentokrát 1:0. Postup to byl nejspíše zasloužený, Osasuna předvedla hlavně kvalitní týmový výkon. Nejlepší hráč zápasu nejspíše Django. Autor: Vacek25

1:2; 0:1 It’s hard to make out who the favorite is in this matchup. Libertas were among the bedded teams, so I suppose the burden of the favorite lied on their back. The beginning of the match though, clearly belonged to Osasuna, they encroached on their opponent, and the Spanish were lost. After a couple minutes, Django scored a fine goal following cooperation with Zli Gli. The GK and probably best commentator el_vaquero had to take out the ball out of his net. In the second half, the Spanish managed to tie, but right after the tying goal, Zli Gli started pushing from the corner, trough everything that stood in his way and once again gave his team Osasuna the lead. The match didn’t see any more goals and Osasuna won the match with a tight margin 2:1. Before the second match, Libertas had Gandalfiti come in for el_vaquero but the intro didn’t work out for him. Three minutes after he got into the game, his opponent Django tricked him, and scored the only goal of the second match. Libertas tried another substition of the GK, but not even that could help the course of the match. Osasuna won this match, once again with the tightest margin, 1:0. It can be said that Osasuna deservedly advance, as they showed off a very healthy team spirit and portrayed this in the game. The MVP in the matches was Django. Author: Vacek25

Od zápasu medzi Masters del Universo a Limitless som mal vcelku veľké očakávania. Stretli sa dva kvalitné celky, ktoré oba zahrali slušne i vo svojich skupinách, no musím povedať že MdU svoju rolu favorita naplnil do bodky. Chorvátskemu celku nemožno uprieť bojovnosť, no jednoducho im to tam nepadalo. Prvý polčas prvého zápasu sme videli viac-menej tzv. „oťukávanie” a nebolo jednoznačne badateľné ktorý tím má navrch. Druhý polčas nám však priniesol víťaza keď KEANU nastrieľal hattrick čo znamenalo už lepšiu pozíciu MdU pred druhým zápasom. Do druhého zápasu bola vykonaná len jedna zmena na strane Limitless keď Karalo prenechal miesto Medekovi. Hra zostala na približne rovnakej hernej úrovni. Do posledného polčasu vchádzali Limitless s jednogólovým deficitom už po 4 góle KEANa v dvojzápase. Limitless skorým striedaním Medeka za Iniestu priniesli oživenie do hry, no naďalej sa nedarilo a Limitless nebol súdený ani jediný gól. Druhý zápas sa skončil 2:0 pre MdU a s rovnakým počtom víťazstiev sa skončila séria s Limitless a tým MdU pokračujú ďalej v bojoch za trofejou. Ďalším súperom MdU budú FAčka. Hviezdou zápasov sa stáva KEANU, ktorý dokázal Hranovi že aj on dokáže strieľať góly.

2:0; 3:0 I had fairly high expectations of the matchup between MdU and Limitless. Both teams had played some nice hax in their groups, but I have to say that MdU proved their supremacy in the two matches and perfectly fulfilled their role of the favorite. Limitless undoubtedly put up a decent fight, but couldn’t manage to score any goals. In the first half of the first match, we pretty much saw a small warm-up among the two and it was hard to tell who the prevailing team is. The second half however, gave us a winner, when KEANU scored a hattrick which meant an obvious better position before the second match for MdU. There was only one change in the Limitless lineup when Medek went in for Karalo. The game didn’t show any difference compared to the situation before the substitution. Limitless entered the last half with a one goal deficit after KEANU scored his fourth goal in two matches. At half time, the substituted player Medek went off and Iniesta came in, this had altered gameplay a little and had given the Croatian team the spark it needed, but it still couldn’t produce any goals. The second match ended 2:0 for MdU just like the series and so, MdU advance to the further stage of the Champions League, hence, the quarterfinals where they will play against another Czech team, the FA Team. Vyhecovaný zápas, který provázelo hecování a až nenávistná atmosféra z obou táboru se musel hrát na dvakrát. Tento souboj neměl vyloženého favorita a tak se mohl očekávat dramatický souboj. První zápas vyhráli Nerazzurri celkem zaslouženě 2:0. Dařilo se v brance především dobře rozehrávajicímu Rooneymu, v útoku se blýskl Karabaja, který vsřelil obě branky. Druhý zápas se nedohrál kvůli roztržce mezi týmy a adminy byl určen termín zápasu na druhý den. Místo konání zápasu se přesunulo ze Slovenska do Německa. I v druhém zápase byli o něco lepší hráči Nerazzurri. První poločas vyhráli 1:0, trefil se znovu Karabaja. Do druhé půle vystřídal kapitán porttt brankáře, místo sebe poslal na hřiště hráče sTop. Tomu se zápas příliš nepovedl a druhý poločas pustil 3 branky. Na druhé straně odehrál celý druhý zápas v útoku kreilach, který celkem spolehlivě nahradil Fedexe. 0:2; 1:4 A heckling match with rude, provoking behaviour on either side, and feelings of hatred. This matchup didn’t have an obvious favorite so we were up to see another drama. Nerazzurri had won the first match deservedly 2:0. A very good performance from the goalie Rooney who had perfect vision, and the mesmerizing attacker Karabaja who scored on both occassions. The second match was then postponed due to disruptive behaviour among the two teams and the admins set the next day for conclusion of the matchup. On the second day the host came from Germany unlike the first when the host was from Slovakia. Just like the first match, Nerazzurri showed that they top their opponent. They won the first half 1:0, from a goal by Karabaja. Before the second half, the captain porttt came off the pitch and had sTop continue as GK. For sTop the game didn’t go very well, as he let 3 goals in his net. On the other side, kreilach played the whole second match and honorably replaced Fedex who played the first match. Konfrontácia Oilers a Portki predpovedala zaujímavý priebeh. V bráne Olejárov opäť nastúpil Joe a tak mohol Ferry „řádit“ v útoku s Bonapartem. Portki nastúpili vo svojej zabehanej zostave GK Jarvis, ProcedeR, HASTLA. Zápas sa začal veľmi príjemne pre Oilers keď vsietili len necelú pól minútu od odkopu. Po góle sa hralo viac-menej zo strany na stranu, a po menšej chybe dokázali Portki využiť šancu a vyrovnali. Zostávajúcich 8 minút nedokázalo týchto dvoch súperov nič rozdeliť a tak sa tímy ocitli v golden goale, ktorý mal 7 častí!! Tá 7. však trvala len 9 sekúnd keď HASTLA vykúpil polovičku herny na streame, čakajúcu na gól. Prvý zápas vyhrali Portki po nekonečnej dráme. Do druhého zápasu nastúpili oba tímy v rovnakom zložení. HASTLA sa preukázal ako platný kanonier keď strelil ďalší gól do Joeovej bránky po pozičnej chybe. Bonaparte s Ferrym dokázali odpovedať, no len na prvú z hrozieb. Oilers totiž opäť inkasovali, ale tentoraz nevyšiel návrat do zápasu. Zápas sa skončil 2:1 pre FC Portki a celkovo Portki postupujú po postačujúcich dvoch víťazstvách. Ďalším súperom im bude Double Trouble. Hviezdou zápasov sa stáva HASTLA, ktorý rozhodol oba zápasy.

2:1 OT; 2:1 The confrontation between the Oilers and Portki promised an interesting course. The Oilers once again with Joe as GK and so the universal player Ferry could reminisce in tearing up his opponents with Bonaparte. Portki lineup copied their previous matches with Jarvis as GK, ProcedeR and HASTLA in attack. The beginning of the game went very well for Oilers as they scored the first goal within the first 30 seconds after kickoff. After the goal, gameplay went from one end to the other, and after a small mistake Portki managed to tie the match. The remaining 8 minutes of the first match didn’t bring any change and so the teams had to resolve their „non-differences“ in the Golden Goal which had 7 acts!! The 7th only took 9 seconds though, as HASTLA salvaged half of vherne from an endless tale, who were watching, waiting for a goal. Portki won the first match. There were no changes in lineup before the second match. HASTLA once again struck as a minor defensive positional misunderstanding arised in front of Joe’s goal. Bonaparte and Ferry did eventually produce a tying goal, but only the first time. Once Portki scored again, Oilers couldn’t come up with anything to tie the match. The match ended 2:1 for FC Portki and Portki advance to the next round by winning two of two matches. Their next opponent is Double Trouble. Svoje skilly nám v tomto zápase ponúkli tradičný český tím FA Team a Britský Game Theory. FA Team predviedol veľmi kvalitnú hru v oboch zápasoch. V prvom zápase predviedli Bryndza, popopo a Krkavec silnú nátlakovú hru a vyťažili z toho pekný výsledok 4:0. No kým FAčka predvádzali výbornú hru, Britský tím ,ktorý postupoval z prvého miesta v skupine E sa uchýlil len k bráneniu, ktoré im takisto príliš nevychádzalo. Teoretici skúsili zmeniť hru vystriedaním Ir16 za AP13. I tak, Popopo a Krkavec obaja vsietili po dva góly a tým sa dostali do psychickej pohody po jednoznačnom víťazstve v prvom zápase. Do druhého zápasu urobili oba tímy striedania, keď AP13 vystriedal berta v bráne a do hry sa vrátil Ir16. Hráča popopo nahradil ostrostrelec Rijk. Výkonu Britského tímu tento krok dodal iskru, no aj cez to nový hráč na ihrisku Riijkark dokázal vsietiť jediný gól zápasu do bránky Game Theory, herne sa v druhom zápase rozhodne Briti predviedli solídnejšie ako v prvom. Dokázali si vydobiť viac priestoru ako v prvom. Zmeny vykonané pred druhým zápasom celkovo prospeli Britskému tímu, no to nestačilo na tím FA. Ďalšia prekážka FA budú MdU. Hviezdou zápasov sa stáva KrKavec, ktorý vsietil dva góly a rovnako prihral na dva. Takisto dokázal prudko zavariť pred bránou súpera počas celého dvojzápasu.

4:0; 1:0 The Round of 16 produced a matchip between a traditional Czech Team FA Team and the British team Game Theory. FA Team presented us with quality game in both matches. In the first match, bryndza, popopo and Krkavec brought out a constraining performance, when they didn’t let the opponents create any chances on their goal by pressuring the team the whole span of the first match. While the FA Team brought forth some nice moments, the British Team, who had advanced from first place in their group only resorted to defense, which hadn’t been working well either. The theoretics tried to change their fortunes by substituting Ir16 for AP13, it did not work out as once again the FA Team feated an additional two goals. Nevertheless, popopo and KrKavec each scored two goals and got the FA Team into a positive mindset before the second match. Before the second match had begun, both teams had made substitutions when AP13 took the post of GK for bert and Ir16 also returned back into the game. Popopo of the FA Team was subbed by Rijk. This change had given a spark to the British team, but even through that, the only goal scored in the match was by Riijkark in the GT net. It must be said though, that the British produced a more solid performance. Masters del Universo are the next obstacle for the FA Team, which is in my opinion, one of the toughest among the remaining teams. Nakonec vyhrál 2:1 na zápasy španělský tým, ale bylo to pořádné drama. Calce Team jsme potkali ve skupině a tak jsme věděl, že jde o silný tým, ale i tak jsem favorizoval polské Pig Pug. Ti mi dali za pravdu v prvním zápase, který vyhráli jednoznačně 5:1 a vypadalo to, že druhý zápas už bude jen formalitou. Calce Team se však zvedli a zlepšili svou obranou hru, v druhém zápase už gól nepustili a vyhráli ho těsně 1:0. Třetí a rozhodujicí zápas byl tak velmi dramatický, do vedení se dostali Calce Team a s Pig Pug to nevypadalo příliš dobře. Pár minut před koncem ale polský tým zabral a dokázal vyrovnat. Śance na postup tak byly znovu vyrovnané. Nakonec přišlo na řadu prodloužení a golden a goal, ten padl hned po 2.minutách a chybě brankáře TV5. Calce Team tak postoupili možná trochu překvapivě přes silného soupeře a v dalším kole je čeká ještě těžší soupeř v podobě Crno Beli Klan. autor: Vacek25

1:5; 1:0; 2:1OT The Spanish side eventually reached two wins first, though it was a real drama. As an Oiler I had taken part in a matchup with Calce in the Group stage. Therefore I knew that it is a tough team, but my favorites for the win were the polish Pig Pug. Pig Pug had proven it already in the first match, which they dominated with a 5:1 win and it seemed the second match would just be a formality. However, Calce Team improved their game and also improved their defense, they didn’t concede any goals and won the second match 1:0. Given the circumstances, the third and decisive match was very dramatic, Calce Team first took the lead, and Pig Pug were not faring well at that point. A few minutes before the final buzzer, the Polish team gave it their best and managed to tie the match. The odds for either team to go through to the quarterfinals were equal. We wound up going into overtime and seeing the golden goal. Calce scored the GG just 2 minutes in after a mistake by Pig Pug GK TV5. Calce Team quite surprisingly go through to the next stage and they will meet up with an even stronger opponent in the quarterfinals, Crno Beli Klan.

Dva zajímavé týmy na sebe narazily už v osmifinále. Farm Team je španělský mistr, za který například známý Redboy. Tento tým v neděli vyhrál kvalifikaci na winter league na esl a tak byl před tímto důležitým zápasem ligy mistrů ve formě. Crno Beli Klan je momentálně asi nejsilnější srbský tým a že srbská liga lehká určitě není. Tým disponuje hlavně velmi kvalitní a sehranou dvojicí grobar - Uriels. Tato dvojice mimojiné hrála i v útoku srbské reprezentace, která získala zlato na hlavním mezinárodním turnaji na ESL. První zápas se hrál na půdě Srbska. Jednalo se o celkem vyrovnaný souboj, šance byly na obou stranách, ale gól dokázali vstřelit pouze CBK a tak vyhráli první zápas těsně 1:0. Druhý zápas musel tým kolem Redboye zabrat aby měl šanci na postup. Jeho plány se začaly bořit již na začátku první půle, kdy srbský tým po pěkné akci otevřeli skóre. Poté Farm Team dokázal vyrovnat po chybě Clea, v druhé půli si Crno Beli Klan zapnul obrátky, přidal 3 branky a druhý zápas vyhral jednoznačně 4:1. 1:0; 4:1 Two interesting sides had met in the round of 16. Farm Team is the champion of Spain, whose roster is decorated by the renown Redboy. Before the matchup, this team had managed to qualify for the winter league on ESL, and was in great form before this important match. Crno Beli klan is possibly the strongest Serbian team at the moment, and there are several really strong teams in the Serbian league. The team has a strong and wellcoordinated duo up front grobar –Uriels. As a matter of fact, this duo was part of the Serbian Championship winning team on the international ESL tournament. The first match was played on a Serbian server. The match was very balanced battle, there were several chances on either end, but only CBK managed to score a goal and therefore won the match by the smallest margin 1:0. Redboys team had to produce some fine game in the second match to get back into the contest for the quarterfinals. Their plans had however taken a blow already in the first half of the second match, when the Serbian team produced a fine play and scored the first goal. Farm Team did manage to get back into the game with a tying goal after a mistake by Cleo. The second half saw Crno Beli Klan turn up a notch, when they scored another three goals and won the match 4:1. In the next round, CBK will once again meet up with a Spanish team, Calce Team.
