Born from the 300-year-old tales of Captain Lock-Jaw Jenkins and his deadly pirates who terrorised the waters, the rocks and caves of the Skeleton Cove are haunted by their victims and a damaged pirate ship called ‘The Black Skull’. This zone dares you to enter its dark caves and learn about its mysterious disappearance. Do you dare? Visitors can experience thrilling rides inspired by the force and power of the sea and its underwater creatures. The Crazy Raft spins you into the sea, the Submarine Jet takes you through its depths and over the seabeds, and the crabby Side Winder tests your stamina in a rocking 180-degree crawling motion. Feel the adrenaline rush with the lighthouse Spring Ride that first takes you so high that you can enjoy a spectacular view of Magic Island and then brings you down in a jiffy with a free fall.
Fun and games The golf enthusiast can play 35 of the world’s best golf courses. Created specifically for a real-time adventure experience, there’s a variety of action-packed 3D simulator games, including Transformer and Max Flight. Additionally, Magic Island boasts an LED underwater-themed bowling alley, a wide range of video games and interactive machines, a bumper car ride, and a ‘light-up’ wall climbing adventure for grown-ups. For young visitors, there’s an adventure play area in addition to a train ride that will take them on a journey through the underwater world. Located on the first floor of Seef Mall, Magic Island is open from 10am until 10pm from Saturday to Wednesday. On weekends, the venue is open from 10am until midnight.
