Terra infuse s space s with a gentle warmth.

In today’s incre asingly vir tual world, its warm tone s provide an emotionally stabilising anchor, with an enveloping sense of safety, the familiarity of home and a sense of b elonging.

In the early 2000s, I was part of a small team nurturing the idea of a women’s lifestyle magazine in Bahrain, Woman This Month. Over two decades later, life brought me back to this resilient publication – this time, to help launch something truly special: the Woman of the Year Awards.

Last year, it was inspiring and humbling to interview 130 remarkable women from the 414 nominations received, allowing our jury to shortlist the top three in each of our 17 categories. The public voting phase added extra vigour and excitement to the awards, transforming it into a community event.

We followed the success of the awards with the launch of the Woman This Month Show, a video podcast series that captured the stories of our winners for posterity. Watch the podcast series on our YouTube channel @ womanthismonth

This year, the awards programme is stronger, with UNIDO ITPO Bahrain joining as strategic advisers, enhancing our credibility and reach. In this edition, meet our esteemed panel of jury assessing the nominees this year.

Meet the Main Jury

While the Technical Jury ensures the selection process for the Woman of the Year Awards 2025 is thorough and transparent, the final decision lies with a distinguished panel of five individuals who form the Main Jury.

A stalwart of Bahraini journalism and digital innovation, Ubaydli Ubaydli has spent over five decades shaping thought and advancing knowledge in the Arab world. Since 1970, he has contributed to numerous Arab publications, and his pioneering spirit led to the founding of Al-Fihrist in the 1980s, the first Arab index dedicated to periodical literature. His editorial leadership also extended to Scientific Horizons, a monthly scientific journal published through Afaaq Publishing Company.

Mr. Ubaydli’s contributions to Arab publishing were complemented by his efforts in technological development. From 1995 to 2016, he served as president of Al-Nadeem Information Technology, one of Bahrain’s earliest tech ventures promoting a virtual presence on the web. His entrepreneurial drive continued with the founding of Atyaf Holdings in 2017 and earlier ventures such as Dilmun Publishing Company in Cyprus.

Beyond publishing and IT, Mr. Ubaydli has played significant advisory roles, including with Ahlia University’s Department of ICT and the Board of Trustees at Ibn Khaldun National School. As president of the Arab ICT Union since 2018 and founder of BTECH, he has consistently advocated for digital advancement and regional cooperation.

Now, as a member of the Main Jury for the Woman of the Year Awards 2025, Mr. Ubaydli reflects on the importance of this role: “It is truly an honour to spotlight the dynamic and innovative spirit of Bahrain’s young women. Their fresh perspectives and unwavering commitment are essential to our nation’s future.”

He praises the efforts of UNIDO ITPO Bahrain, recognising their pivotal work in empowering women entrepreneurs: “Through initiatives like the EDIP programme, they have built an ecosystem where women can thrive and lead.”

By celebrating women’s achievements, Mr. Ubaydli believes we foster inclusivity, inspire future generations, and strengthen the fabric of national development.

Tasked with the responsibility of evaluating the shortlisted candidates, this core group brings exceptional experience, integrity and insight to the table.

Sonya Janahi

Huda Janahi is a pioneering Bahraini entrepreneur and one of the Arab world’s most recognised business figures. She is the Founder of Global Cargo and Traveller Services, a company she established with just BD1,000 in start-up capital from a modest office in Muharraq. Despite facing initial rejection due to gender-based restrictions in the cargo industry, she persisted, eventually securing commercial registration through the support of the UNIDO Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion Programme.

Since launching her enterprise in 2001, Ms. Janahi has built a diversified business portfolio spanning services, retail, media and manufacturing. Her 2008 merger with Kuwait’s Global Logistic Company, valued at US$3 million, marked a significant milestone in her regional expansion. Today, she owns eight companies employing 85 staff, with her estimated net worth standing at US$25 million.

Her contributions to entrepreneurship have been widely recognised. Among her accolades are the Mohammad bin Rashid Award for Best Arab Start-Up (2005), the MENA Investor of the Year Award (2006) and the GCC Young Entrepreneur Award (2008). In 2008, she was named among the 50 Most Powerful Businesswomen in the Arab World by Forbes and was commended during the World Economic Forum by the President of the United States. Being part of a platform that celebrates extraordinary women from diverse walks of life is both humbling and inspiring. I believe in the power of recognition to uplift, empower, and create a ripple effect of positive change across our communities. I’m proud to contribute to this meaningful celebration. Recognising women’s achievements is essential – not only to honour their contributions, but also to break down barriers and challenge outdated stereotypes. When we celebrate women, we validate their impact and inspire future generations to aim higher.”

Porsche Middle East and Africa has partnered with
DJ and producer David Guetta to unveil
electrifying new campaign spotlighting its cutting-edge electric vehicles – the Macan Turbo and Taycan Turbo GT.

Shot at the visually striking Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park near Dubai, the campaign blends high-performance automotive design with the pulsating energy of electronic music in a dazzling spectacle of lights, sound and innovation.

Power,

Precision and Performance

Set against the vast backdrop of one of the world’s largest solar parks – spanning 127 square kilometres and featuring over two million solar panels – the campaign film features Mr. Guetta performing a specially produced Future Rave remix of his global hit Titanium. The 263-metre solar tower, the tallest of its kind, becomes an otherworldly DJ booth as the French icon spins his set amidst a flurry of choreographed laser beams and sleek Porsche models in motion.

In the cinematic sequence, the new Macan Turbo and the Taycan Turbo GT take centre stage, speeding through the solar facility’s futuristic landscape. With this project, Porsche not only showcases the power and elegance of its latest electric models, but also underscores its commitment to innovation and sustainability in the region.

A Collaboration of Icons

Speaking about the partnership, Mr. Guetta says: “This collaboration is one of those things you dream of as a kid. Porsche has always stood for emotion, performance and pushing the limits – just like my music. Being part of this project has truly inspired me.”

As one of the most influential electronic music artists of the past two decades, Mr. Guetta’s legacy of boundary-pushing creativity aligns

seamlessly with Porsche’s reputation for engineering excellence and relentless progress. The campaign does more than entertain – it educates. Three behind-the-scenes episodes accompany the main film, offering a deeper look into the creative process, the technology behind the shoot, and Porsche’s evolving vision for electric mobility. All content is available on Porsche’s Newsroom an official social media channels.

Dubai as the Perfect Backdrop

Dr. Manfred Bräunl, Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Middle East and Africa FZE, highlighted the significance of the location. “Dubai is a city

that never stops surprising,” he explains. “The solar park is an incredible location, and not many people know about it. That’s when we thought, it’s perfect for Porsche as it aligns with our clear path towards sustainability.”

The production was supported by the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA), which operates the solar park. With goals to power nearly two million homes by 2030 and reduce over eight million tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually, DEWA embodies the very ideals Porsche aims to champion in its electric future.

Trailblazing Technology

The Macan Turbo, the top-tier model in Porsche’s new generation of all-electric SUVs, delivers up to 470 kW (639 bhp) and an astonishing 1,130 Nm of torque. It sprints from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 260 kmph. The car pairs Porsche’s signature driving performance with everyday practicality, embodying the future of luxury SUVs. Meanwhile, the Taycan Turbo GT stands as Porsche’s most powerful production car to date, with peak power exceeding 1,100 bhp in select versions. The variant equipped with the Weissach package, designed specifically for track use, has set records at four major circuits across the globe, including Nürburgring Nordschleife and the Interlagos Circuit in São Paulo.

Driving Forward

With this visually arresting campaign, Porsche reinforces its strategy to lead the way in the luxury electric vehicle market. Merging cinematic storytelling, iconic music and industry-defining design, Speed of Light is a celebration of a bold new era.

Manicure Maintenance Matters

Russian-style manicures may look flawless for weeks, but experts at AMOR SUI Beauty Lounge explain why sticking to a three-week refresh is key for healthy, beautiful nails.

Russian-style manicures have become increasingly popular for their precision and polished look. While some clients manage to wear their manicures for more than three weeks – sometimes even a month or two – nail professionals caution against stretching them for too long. According to Russian experts, nail coatings should be refreshed within a threeweek period to prevent potential damage.

Why Limit Coatings to Three Weeks?

Although gel or polygel manicures may appear intact beyond the recommended timeframe, the risks are not always visible. During a professional manicure, technicians shape the nails and smooth the nail plate, then apply carefully measured amounts of gel or polygel to match each nail’s shape and size. As the natural nails grow, the balance of the product shifts. This can cause certain areas to bear more weight than others, making them more vulnerable to breakage or deformation.

Manufacturers of gel bases and polygels also advise against prolonged wear. Most brands recommend a maximum of three weeks before removal or reapplication. If left on for too long, the coating can begin to lift from the natural nail. Once this occurs, water can seep underneath the surface, creating a damp environment ideal for fungal infections.

Daily Risks and Nail Health

In daily life, hands are in constant contact with various surfaces, from food and household items to faces and eyes. If a lifted coating is present, these interactions can increase the risk of spreading bacteria or developing a fungal condition. Professionals stress that following a regular maintenance schedule is essential not only for aesthetics but also for nail health and hygiene.

Keeping up with routine appointments ensures the natural nails remain strong and undamaged. Regular fills or reapplications maintain product balance and reduce the chances of cracking or lifting. Nails that are consistently cared for will grow better and remain healthy over time.

Book with the Experts

AMOR SUI Beauty Lounge encourages clients to adhere to professional advice for lasting results. Its skilled technicians offer high-quality manicure and pedicure services aimed at preserving both the look and health of clients’ nails.

With proper care, clients can enjoy beautifully maintained nails without risking damage or infection.

For those looking to refresh their nails, it may be the perfect time to book that next appointment. Following expert recommendations will keep nails in impeccable condition and ensure they continue to make a statement for all the right reasons.

IN BAHRAIN

Eat, Live, Thrive

Consultant, Lifestyle Nutritionist and Meal Planner, Dr. Tejender Kaur Sarna, more popularly known as Dr. Tejji, shares her insights on how small, conscious changes to our eating habits and lifestyle choices can help us stay healthy, without compromising convenience or breaking the bank.

Being healthy is everyone’s right but in today’s fast-paced world, it can feel like a luxury. The modern lifestyle is packed with deadlines, stress and constant demands, making it easy to fall into the trap of unhealthy food choices. A few taps on your phone and dinner is at the door — usually in the form of pizza, sugary drinks or greasy burgers, all of which often cost less than a nourishing salad.

However, staying healthy doesn’t mean spending a fortune or overhauling your life. It’s about smart planning and small decisions made consistently. Mindful eating, shopping for local and seasonal produce, choosing affordable sources of protein and preparing meals at home are all effective strategies. Convenience often comes at the cost of nutrition and recognising that is the first step.

Sleep plays a bigger role than most realise. It is important to have at least seven hours of quality rest each night. Poor sleep can affect weight, mood and even your daily food choices.

To avoid temptations at home, there’s a simple trick: keep healthy food within reach and stash unhealthy snacks out of sight. Learn to read food labels and don’t fall for misleading tags like ‘sugar-free’ or ‘fat-free’ without understanding what they really mean.

Keep quick, healthy snacks on hand for busy days. A small box of mixed nuts – almonds, unsalted walnuts, peanuts and raisins – is great for both men and women needing a quick energy boost. Keeping fruits and boiled eggs ready can also help avoid ordering in when time is tight.

Another common pitfall is mistaking thirst for hunger. If you feel sudden cravings, try drinking a glass of water first. Be mindful of portion sizes too – a simple rule is to stick to one serving of anything on your plate.

Staying active doesn’t require a gym membership. Walk during calls, use the stairs and make the most of your breaks. Every step counts. Most importantly, start small. One healthy meal a day and five traditional meals a week. Don’t fall for every social media trend. Instead, take time to listen to your body. You are unique and your diet should reflect that.

Legacy of L ght

Jenny Joseph, the face behind Columbia Pictures’ iconic torch logo, sat down with Kristian Harrison at the InterContinental Bahrain to share her extraordinary tale of how one of the world’s most recognisable women has deep roots in the Kingdom.

When Ms. Joseph first arrived in the Middle East from her native UK in the 1980s, she never imagined the region would bookend such a defining part of her life. Back then, she was working in the marketing department at Saudi Aramco, creating public service adverts. Today, she finds herself once again in the Gulf – this time in Bahrain, visiting family.

It was during her time in Saudi Arabia that Ms. Joseph met her husband, Michael, then a geophysicist. “Aramco was much smaller then. The expat community was close-knit, and we had so much fun – dinners, trips to Half Moon Bay, and even quick hops to Bahrain before the causeway opened,” she recalls. After a few years apart, the two reunited in the UK and were married in Vienna in 1987, following a seaside proposal in Maine, where Michael’s family still owns a cherished beach house.

Fast forward more than three decades, and Ms. Joseph is reflecting on a life of creative chance and quiet legacy. She is, quite literally, the face of Columbia Pictures. While working in New

Orleans in the early ’90s, she agreed to pose for artist Michael Deas during a lunch break at The Times-Picayune newspaper where she worked. The shoot with the photographer, Kathy Anderson, who would later become a good friend, took 15 minutes. “It was never an ambition of mine,” she admits. “Michael just asked if I’d sit in as a model. I had no idea what it would become.”

That impromptu image became the foundation of Columbia Pictures’ enduring logo – a modern version of the torch-bearing woman, evoking both grace and strength. “I wouldn’t say I see myself as a symbol,” Ms. Joseph says. “It’s more of a graphic, like a logo. But I do feel proud to have been part of something so iconic.”

In the years since, she’s watched with quiet amusement as her likeness has been animated, parodied and preserved. “I love the humorous versions people do – they’re all in good spirit,” she says. “When I used to tell my kids that it was me, they didn’t believe me and thought it was a family fable – until we brought out the original contact sheet of photos!”

Now visiting Bahrain – Ms. Joseph is enjoying reconnecting with the region that played such a pivotal role in her personal story. “It’s changed so much. Everything’s modernised, but there’s still that same welcoming spirit,” she says.

With her family set to grow again soon, she reflects on this meaningful stop. “It feels like things have come full circle,” says Ms. Joseph. “Michael and I met here all those years ago. Life is funny that way.”

And in true Bahraini fashion, she adds with a smile: “A friend of a friend brought us here, toured us around, and made us feel at home. That’s just how it is here.”

Dopamine Diaries: Your Brain’s Happy Chemical

Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst, Fifi Kiwan, discusses dopamine, the brain’s most celebrated ‘feel-good’ chemical, and how it affects us and what we can do to keep our levels in check.

What Is Dopamine?

Dopamine is a neurotransmitter, a fancy term for a chemical messenger that helps transmit signals in the brain. Think of it as a little courier, delivering messages between neurons (brain cells) to help regulate various functions in your body. It plays a crucial role in mood, motivation, reward and even movement.

When you accomplish something, like finishing that Netflix series you’ve been binging or successfully cooking a new dish, your brain releases dopamine. This momentary rush of joy is your brain’s way of saying: “Well done! Let’s do that again!”

The Bright Side of Dopamine

Dopamine is like the cheerleader of your brain. Here’s how it positively impacts your life:

1. Motivation & Reward: Dopamine drives you to pursue goals. It’s that little voice that whispers ‘You can do it!’ when you’re tackling a project or trying to hit the gym. The more you achieve, the more dopamine you get, creating a satisfying cycle of motivation.

2. Mood Regulation: A healthy level of dopamine contributes to a positive mood. When you feel happy and content, it’s often thanks to this little chemical helping you out.

3. Learning & Memory: Dopamine is essential for learning. It helps reinforce behaviours that lead to positive outcomes, making you more likely to repeat those actions.

The Dark Side of Dopamine

However, too much of a good thing can be … well, not so good. Here’s how an excess of dopamine can lead to trouble: 1. Addiction: High levels of dopamine can be linked to addictive behaviours. When drugs, alcohol or even sugar flood your brain with dopamine, it can lead to a cycle of craving and dependency. Your brain starts to crave that high, making it harder to feel pleasure from everyday activities.

2. Mood Disorders: An imbalance in dopamine levels can contribute to conditions like depression and anxiety. Too little dopamine can leave you feeling unmotivated and blue, while too much can lead to heightened anxiety or even manic episodes.

How to Get a Healthy Infusion of Dopamine

So, how can you keep your dopamine levels balanced and thriving? Here are some simple, witty tips: 1. Exercise: Get moving! Physical activity boosts dopamine levels and releases those feel-good endorphins. Whether it’s a brisk walk or a dance party in your living room, shake it up!

2. Eat Right: Foods rich in tyrosine, an amino acid that helps produce dopamine, can be your best friends. Think bananas, avocados, eggs and nuts. Snack smart and your brain will thank you.

3. Sleep Well: Never underestimate the power of a good night’s sleep. Quality rest is crucial for maintaining dopamine levels. So, put down that phone and catch those Z’s!

4. Set Achievable Goals: Break tasks into bite-sized pieces. Completing small goals can give you that dopamine boost without the rollercoaster of addiction.

5. Practice Gratitude: Take a moment each day to reflect on what you’re thankful for. This simple practice can increase your dopamine levels and improve your overall mood.

Dopamine is a double-edged sword – essential for motivation and happiness, yet capable of leading us astray if we’re not careful. By understanding how it works and incorporating healthy habits into our daily lives, we can enjoy the sweet rewards of dopamine without the pitfalls. So go ahead, chase those dreams, celebrate your wins, and keep that dopamine flowing!

Video Games and a Balanced Childhood

Video games captivate children but balancing screen time is key. Ouiam El Hassani explores how parents can guide kids to game mindfully, fostering selfawareness, resilience and responsible digital habits without conflict.

Video games: a world of adventure, connection and, let’s be honest, parental anxieties. But what if raising a ‘healthy gamer’ wasn’t a pipe dream? What if it was about empowering kids to navigate the digital world with balance and mindfulness? It’s not about isolating them from screens, but equipping them with the tools to thrive in a tech-saturated age.

Guiding Digital Natives

Think of it like this: our kids are digital natives, and we’re their guides on this exciting, sometimes bewildering, journey. This journey, however, isn’t a simple one. The digital world is constantly evolving, presenting new challenges and opportunities. It’s a landscape where social interactions unfold in real-time, where friendships are forged across continents and where information flows freely. As guides, we must understand this landscape, not as outsiders, but as curious explorers. We need to learn the language of gaming, understand the nuances of online communities, and appreciate the creative potential that these platforms offer. This means moving beyond fear-based

reactions and embracing a mindset of open communication and collaborative learning. We’re not just setting rules; we’re building a foundation for responsible digital citizenship.

Encouraging Self-Awareness

Instead of rigid time limits and power struggles, consider a more curious approach. Ask your kids: “Did you have as much fun in the last half hour as you did in the first?” This simple question encourages them to reflect on their own enjoyment, to tune into their feelings rather than blindly consuming screen time. Follow it up with a real-world comparison: “Is playing at the park more fun than watching TV?” It’s about fostering awareness, helping them understand

the impact of their choices. It’s not about demonising screens, but about showing them the richness of life beyond them.

The Power of Choice

The power of choice is immense. “You can play now, or you can play later.” This simple phrase strengthens their decision-making muscles, teaching them the valuable skill of delaying gratification. It’s like building resilience, one small choice at a time. Of course, there are times when intervention is necessary. Slipping grades, social isolation or sudden mood changes are signals that something deeper might be at play.

Beauty by Buthaina

Award-winning beauty expert Buthaina AlShomali is redefining what it means to care for hair and self, with salons that prioritise education, healthy beauty and meaningful client experiences.

With nearly two decades in the industry, Ms. AlShomali has established herself as one of Bahrain’s most trusted beauty professionals. Known for her warm personality and thoughtful approach, Ms. AlShomali brings more than makeup mastery to the table – she brings purpose.

Winner of the Woman in Beauty category at the Woman of the Year Awards 2024, Ms. AlShomali has not only built a loyal following but also a thriving business empire. Her journey began with a small salon in Busaiteen. Today, her vision has expanded into a second location in Riffa, a men’s salon and even a café – all united by a commitment to quality, comfort and community.

What sets her salons apart is their focus on education and individual care. “It’s not just about having beautiful hair at the salon,” says Ms. AlShomali. “It’s about knowing how to care for it every day.”

Healthy hair is a core principle in her approach. She discourages the use of cheap commercial shampoos and urges women to invest in the right products for their hair type. To support this, each salon visit includes a complimentary diagnosis using a highresolution camera, allowing trained specialists to assess the scalp and hair condition before offering tailored treatment advice.

From advanced treatments using premium brands like Goldwell’s Rich Repair and Scalp Specialist ranges, to tips on avoiding heat damage and choosing the best leave-in products, Ms. AlShomali’s team ensures every client leaves with more than just a great look – they leave informed.

It’s this blend of expertise, authenticity and care that has earned Ms. AlShomali her reputation. Her salons are places for beauty, but also for confidence, knowledge and empowerment – a reflection of the woman behind the name.

Here’s how I suggest building your salon family:

1.

The First Meeting: All About Connection

Think of this as getting to know someone over coffee. It’s not just about their resume; it’s about their personality. Do they light up when they talk about beauty? Do their values feel like they match yours? It’s about feeling that spark of connection.

2. Second Meeting: Show Me Your Magic – Skills in Action

Now, let’s see what they can do! In the second meeting, ask them to show off their skills. You’ll see their technique and passion.

3. Third Meeting: Share Your Culture

If you feel a good connection, it’s time to share your salon’s world. Put your expectations in writing – things like salon protocols, career paths and salary job description etc. This helps everyone feel secure and clear about what’s expected.

4. Welcome to the Team: Our Guiding Hand

Introduce them to your team and pair them with friendly senior members. Encourage your team to be warm and patient. For the first week, let them observe and learn your salon’s way of doing things.

5. Growing Together: The Probation Period

These three months are a time for learning, growth and adjusting. Listen to feedback from everyone involved, including new candidates, as you might discover a lot. Offer gentle guidance and encouragement. If they thrive during this period, you’ll know they’ve found their place in your salon family

Why This Feels Right:

This isn’t just about filling a position; it’s about building a team that feels like a family. It’s about finding people who share their passion and values, creating a warm and supportive environment for everyone.

Because rushing can lead to mismatches. Taking your time helps you find someone who truly fits your salon’s heart.

What’s the point of the probation period?

It’s a chance for them to settle in and for you to see how they fit into your salon family. It’s a time for growth and learning.

By giving them time to learn and adapt. If they succeed during the probation, they’ve shown they understand and embrace your salon’s culture. Why take my time when hiring?

Look for personality and values. Do they seem passionate and genuine? It’s about that gut feeling of connection.

do I know if they’ll truly fit in?

IN HER SHOES

As a talented and successful woman in the fields of marketing and education, Executive Director at Quality Education School, Madhuri Prakash, has much wisdom to share. Let’s take a walk in her shoes!

What’s the first thing you do each morning?

I carve out 15 quiet minutes just for myself. With music playing softly, I ease into the day – sometimes solving a Sudoku puzzle, notebook open beside me. As thoughts settle, my to-do list gently takes shape. It’s a small, grounding ritual that brings calm and clarity, helping me feel less like I’m reacting to the day and more like I’m shaping it.

Describe your job in three words. Strategy, communication and leadership. No two days are the same – there’s always something new to learn or solve. I started in journalism, moved into corporate communications, but working in a school is something else altogether. It’s lively, unpredictable and fulfilling, and everything we do is for our students’ growth.

What’s one school memory from your own childhood that still makes you smile?

In Grade 8, I got caught sneaking snacks into the IT lab and learned teachers really do have eyes everywhere. Today, that same teacher is still on faculty, yet I still feel like her student. Some bonds never change, and some lessons –like stealth failures and lasting respect – stay with you for life, often with a hint of fear.

Were you more of a front-row student or the one secretly passing notes in the back?

Oh, front-row student all the way! But that doesn’t mean we didn’t do our fair share of note passing.

What’s one marketing trend you secretly wish would disappear?

I’d retire the surge of AI-polished brand content that’s eroding true differentiation. While generative AI aids ideation and scale, overreliance breeds sameness. In 2025, I hope marketers use AI as a fast, clever intern – great for drafts and data, but always refined by the irreplaceable human touch that brings authenticity, nuance and originality back to the forefront.

Coffee or tea?

Let’s just say breakfast can wait, my brain runs on dark roast. Coffee is my ultimate creative sidekick. I have had some of my best ideas over a cup of coffee.

What advice would you give your younger school-going self, now that you’re on the other side of the classroom?

To embrace individuality, take risks and value curiosity over certainty. It’s okay to fail. Life teaches best. Also, ditch Orkut early and join Facebook quickly.

Who’s your biggest inspiration when it comes to leadership and why?

The greatest leadership lesson I learned came from my father, Prakash Devji. His quiet strength, integrity and resilience shaped who I am. He led by example, never seeking praise but always doing what was right. His words still guide me: “Don’t be the one pointing at the problem, be the one offering a solution.”

If your school days had a theme song, what would it be and why?

Good Life by OneRepublic takes me back to school days, evoking nostalgia for carefree moments, cherished friendships and a reassuring sense that everything was going to be alright.

Finally, if you could relive one day from your own school years, which one would it be?

I’d relive our school’s cultural show for the thrill of performing, backstage excitement and the unforgettable sense of unity it brought as classmates became a team in that magical moment.
