The Customer is Wrong! Brace yourself for a laughing riot as the globetrotting tribute to one of the most famous British sitcoms returns to the Kingdom. After its Manama debut last year, the BBC sitcom Fawlty Towers’ tribute act has only grown stronger. This amusing show returns to Bahrain to bring down the curtain on a successful world tour. With its roaring popularity, the show today boasts eight teams of cast members who between them have toured over 20 countries and appeared at major arts festivals. This hit act has even enjoyed a season at the Sydney Opera House while maintaining a London West residency. Renamed ‘Faulty Towers’ — to distinguish it from the original TV series — the dining experience debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008. Performing this year in Bahrain are Suzanna Hughes as Sybil, Ed Howells as Manuel and Rob Langston as Basil. All you have to do is settle in and buckle up for a two-hour ride of highly improvised comedy. Only a third of the show is scripted, so there’s plenty room for impromptu gags.
