The Los Angeles (by way of Chicago) rapper has been making waves with his Black Jungle Squad crew Tre, Israel and Oliver the 2nd, while teaming up with local Low End Theory usuals like Gaslamp Killer, Jonwayne, Samiyam and fellow Warp artists Gonjasufi and Flying Lotus. This year Jae dropped his RawHyde mixtape with Oliver the 2nd, one of NPR’s top 25 records of 2013 so far, plus a collection of his Beastie Boys remixes, as well as YBP's Gesus, ‘Raw Money Raps’ on FlyLo’s Brainfeeder label.
