Recorded in Bethesda, Wales in June, No Blues was produced by John Goodmanson (Sleater-Kinney, Nada Surf, Blonde Redhead) and Tom Campesinos!. The album follows 2011’s Hello Sadness and is the Cardiff, Wales-based band’s fifth full-length album, and their first for Wichita Recordings (First Aid Kit, Cate Le Bon). A College and Triple A radio service will impact upon release, additionally a Modern Rock service will impact around January tour. Early press accolades include NPR All Songs Considered Fall Music Preview and Pitchfork’s premiere for the album announcement and the track, “What Death Leaves Behind”. A video for first single, “Avocado Baby” will premiere on street date – the track stream premiered via SPIN in early October.
