That welcome flows through all we do and say. We open our arms to everyone who comes to share our love of God and all God’s people. We affirm and value the lives of everyone, including all who have been marginalized by ability, age, gender, gender identity, mental or physical health, poverty, race, sexual orientation, or any other circumstance. Let our message be clear: all are welcome to participate fully in the life of our congregation.

The theme of the Day
A little faith goes a long way is Jesus’ point in the gospel. A mustard seed’s-worth of faith has miraculous potential. The patience, tenacity, and endurance required for the life of faith are the blessings received in holy baptism, holy communion, and the word read and proclaimed in this assembly. Anticipate them. Receive them with thanksgiving.

We are joining the Atlanta Pride celebrations by learning from our queer and disabled neighbors about how to express your joy and pride in being exactly who you are.
This special worship service is designed to be accessible to people of all abilities- yes, that means you! We are all beloved children of God with strengths and weaknesses. People with disabilities and their caregivers need the support of their faith community We all need to be reminded that whatever our abilities, we are enough. Come to be a friend and make some amazing new friends! Meet in Rudisill Hall from 10:15 - 10:45 (before or after attending your usual service!) on September 14, October 19, November 16, and December 14. Mark your calendars!

Fugelsang was raised in the Catholic Church and in his book he offers practical advice on how we can fight for the love, mercy, and service that are at the heart of Christianity. Early on, each tradition took a unique approach to the shared stores of Cain/Abel, Sarah and Hagar, Joseph, and others. As we look at the variations in interpretations, we can see the issues that still divide, and sometimes unite, these "Religions of the Book."

2025 Hat & Scarf Challenge
The Prayer Shawl Ministry invites everyone to knit or crochet hats and scarves for those in need, to be distributed during the Lutheran Community Food Ministry Holiday Meals Scarves should be at least 60" long; superwash yarn is preferred. Drop completed items in the Fall 2025 Challenge box in Room 119, where free yarn is available. Monster Mash and Pipe Screams- Saturday, October 25
Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 25 from 4-7 pm for some Halloween fun! We will start with carnival games outside (weather permitting), dinner in Sims Atrium (pizza), and then head to the sanctuary for the Pipe Screams concert After the concert, we will go back outside for music, bubbles, and of course, CANDY! Costumes are encouraged for all ages but not required. A donation of about $5 per person is appreciated to cover food RSVP is not required Bring a friend!
“PipeScreams” Concert - Saturday, October 25 at 5:30 pm. All ages are invited to this free family-friendly 30-minute concert of spooky music performed by organist Sarah Hawbecker Costumes are encouraged!
