The California National Indian Gaming Association help the Western Indian Gaming Conference during the second week of February. This amazing conference provided us with an update on the state of California Tribal Nations. CNIGA is a vital supporter to Indian Country and we appreciate all their hard work to help 46 federally recognized Tribal Nations in California.

NATIONAL INDIAN WOMEN’S LUNCH

On Thursday, February 23, during the National Congress of American Indian’s annual “National Indian Women’s Supporting Each Other Honoring Lunch”, our CEO Tracy Edwards was recognized by Holly Cook Macarro, a member of the Red Lake Band of Ojibwe, and past award recipient for an appreciation award. Each recipient received an engraved silver box. The box was described as containing love, encouragement, and appreciation. Tracy was honored for her work as the past Chairwomen of Redding Rancheria and her work in Indian Country.
