LOVE ON FIRE

Romance is on the menu for two cooking-obsessed neighbors

Gia Summers is ready to start again with a promising new job, a new lakeside neighborhood, and a brand new home! After moving in, Gia soon forms an unexpected friendship with her next door neighbor, firefighter and single dad Jim Dunlap, whose love for barbecuing is equalled only by Gia’s passion for cooking. At work, Gia’s new boss seems more interested in approving plans that benefit his upcoming run for town mayor than anything that could genuinely help the community – and there are definitely some things that the place needs, like a new playground for the local kids, and a gym for the fire station. Luckily for this small town however, they’ve got Gia and Jim. Together, these two will stop at nothing to raise the funds these projects so desperately need – and in the process, just maybe cook up a little romance of their own! TV MOVIE / ROMANTIC COMEDY

THE BLIND DETECTIVE MOVIES

An ex-cop, blinded by an explosion, seeks justice by any means necessary

A bomb blast took ex-cop Alexander Haller’s eyesight, but the criminal underworld shouldn’t underestimate him. His instincts are as sharp as ever, and he never stops until he gets justice – even if that means sometimes behaving a little unconventionally. In ‘The Blind Detective 4’, a state prosecutor is murdered – and the date of the explosion that rocked Haller’s life all those years ago is found next to the corpse – Haller must revisit his old cases to find a connection. There is one investigation that stands out in particular, where a teacher was suspected of strangling his student. But the more Haller re-examines the evidence, the more convinced he becomes that they caught the wrong man. When psychoanalyst Weiser narrowly avoids becoming the new killer’s latest victim, Haller must race against time to stop the mysterious maniac, and put right a longstanding miscarriage of justice. In ‘The Blind Detective 5’, during the opening of an art exhibition, the wealthy owner of a prestigious private bank is poisoned with a toxic mix of cocaine and cyanide. While trying to save him, Haller’s sister Sophie suffers lifethreatening injuries herself. On the hunt for the killer, Haller uncovers disturbing secrets in the lives of the dead banker and his glamorous high-society wife. At the same time, his investigation brings him to the Koberer Inn, the number one meeting place for coachmen and traditional horse-drawn carriages in Vienna. It’s up to Haller to discover how these two very different worlds could collide with such deadly results and unmask a killer as cunning as they are ruthless! TV MOVIES / CRIMES
