Nora dreams of one day owning her own interior design firm in America. What she gets instead is distant relative Edmund’s old countryside estate in England. Keen to offload this inheritance as quickly as possible and use the money to fund her business, Nora flies to England to prepare it for sale. When she arrives however, she encounters a big problem; Jamie Allen. Jamie is the stuffy new owner of Edmund’s furniture company, and he refuses to let Nora sell the house. Every time she has a possible buyer, Jamie scares them away with tales of impossible maintenance issues, and even ghosts! But as Nora fights for her claim on the estate, she finds herself slowly drawn to the charismatic Jamie.
