Looking Ahead: Is a “Normal” Real Estate Market on the Horizon?
2022 OAKVILLE REAL ESTATE OUTLOOK: • Sale prices in Oakville will continue to increase, but at a slower rate than 2020 and 2021. RE/MAX Canada predicts a 7.5% increase by July 2022, while 2021 and 2020 each experienced an 21% increase for all of Oakville. • In January 2022 with only 96 sales, Prices are up and Days to Sell, the number Listed and number Sold are all down compared to January 2021. • Interestingly, RE/MAX brokers anticipate the average sale price to increase the most in Muskoka (20%), where the move-over trend has remained strong.
