Here are some great recipes to enhance your BBQs.

Strawberries with Balsamic and Basil

May is also National Strawberry Month! Enjoy this tasty recipe.

1 gal Bush Beans (original) pour off about half the liquid 1 1/2 cup brown sugar 12oz KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce 1 pound smoked burnt ends (cut into small pieces) 1 1/2 cup chopped sweet onions

Combine all ingredients in aluminum pans. Place pans in a pellet smoker at 225 degrees for 2 to 3 hours. Stir, getting edges and bottom mixed with remainder. Turn smoker up to 300 degrees for 30 to 45 mins.

They freeze well too!

1 1/4c sugar 1 1/4c balsamic vinegar 2 1/2T honey 2t freshly ground black pepper 1C fresh basil leaves, torn into small pieces and loosely packed 10C strawberries, trimmed and halved (about 4lbs whole berries)

In large mixing bowl, stir together sugar, vinegar, honey, and pepper. Add basil and strawberries; toss to coat.

Cover and chill at least 10 minutes and up to 1 1/2 hours.

Serve chilled.
