I say this not to impress you but instead to impress upon you that I know what it takes to get the results you want. I analyze the market. I guide my clients to make better decisions. My listings show better, sell faster, and for more money.

We are in the midst of an unprecedented time. Who thought that we could go from the best economy in 30 years to the brink of a major recession? I am getting calls from clients worried about the effect the shutdown will have on our real estate market. We have never seen this before, so I can’t say what the future holds, but I can tell you what we see now.

Buyers are still looking for homes, and showings continue, just at a slower pace. I have many listings currently, and I am still selling homes every week. My buyers are still looking, especially new transferees to Dallas - they must have a place to live. Interest rates are the lowest ever, so affordability is the best ever. Builders are still building and selling homes to accommodate the flow of newcomers to our area that will continue.

The DFW area continues to be spared from the worst case expectations as far as virus deaths are concerned. If I were given a choice to weather this world pandemic in any city in the world, I would choose to be in the DFW area in Texas. Our economy is strong and diversified, and it can withstand a lot of pressure. Granted, service and entertainment industries are suffering tremendously now, but our manufacturing and technology industries are still viable.
