The two day one night campout was hosted by Ducati Malaysia in collaboration with Big Boys Adventure.

: the ride took us to a planned 300km round route from Ducati Malaysia to GombakGenting-Karak-Bentong-Caravan Serai (Campout site) :Caravan Serai- Fraser Hill-Sg Pertak (picnic by the waterfall)-Kuala Kubu-Lembah Beringin-Ducati Malaysia. I have so much excitement reviewing the 950, starting with the looks, you actually can’t differentiate the MTS 950 with the MTS 1200, what can be said in a nut shell, the new MTS 950 handling is significantly easy to flick left and right, superb in tight and twisty narrow corners, it’s a wild and fun stallion that will suit all kind of riders, slow, fast, old or young.

Turning to the riding experience with Defensive Riding Training, a training by DRE Instructors Remon and Haizal, they gave us valuable tips to handle the new MTS 950. The MTS 950 is much better and easier to guide than the 1200 model, especially when it comes to handling and stationary weight matters. It’s also much better when taking turns at relatively high speeds. However, (honestly) it is still not at par with the controlling stage of its competitor, in the offroad segment maybe because of the tyres and rims but the MTS 950 is capable of rivalling many of its competitor by just slapping it with a pair of spokes and knobbly tyre and with another additional RM6k, this MTS 950 should have reached the perfect 10 with Dual Sport segment!
