A Message from Dean Lei It has been great to catch up with so many of you in person over the past few weeks. I have also enjoyed seeing and talking to many of our students who are once again filling our class ooms and planning activities on campus. Thank you for your resilience over the past months and your commitment to RBS and to our students. We have persevered together and accomplished many important things. I look forward to a great semester.
Newsletter Committee Updates Happy New Year and Happy Spring Semester 2022! Inside RBS continues to seek enthusiastic guest contributors to share their expertise, department news, local reports, and creative writing with staff. Do you have a special talent or hobby? What innovative things are happening in your department? Can you recommend a favorite day trip destination, ethnic restaurant, or a good book to read? We want to hear from you! New for 2022! Contributors to Inside RBS will be entered into a random drawing for a small thank you gift, compliments of the RBS Staff ewsletter Committee. For the January/February issue, we had a handful of photos submitted, and a few gratitude wall notes for a total of 9 entrants. Drum roll, please. The winner of Inside RBS’s first of many fun 2022 contests, is Marla Shachtman. The RBS swag bag consisting of a striped RBS scarf, a knit beanie and warm fold-back mittens will be interofficed shortly.. Congratulations and thank you for supporting Inside RBS.
