DEVELOPER UPDATE

It feels like the calm before the storm. . . Since our final council approval for Marlow and the mountain biking trails came through in March, our team has been full speed ahead with finalising the engineering and fine detail plans. We’re happy to say that this has all gone are on track to have the first machines on site in July as planned.

What can you expect to see?

July is going to be pretty crazy! You can expect to see progress on three different fronts.

 Firstly, the construction of the community garden has already kicked off and will really start to take shape over the next few weeks.

 Secondly, the Contour Works team will start work on the first of our mountain bike trails.

 Thirdly, you will see the “big yellow toys” starting to move dirt at Marlow, as they begin building the roads for our next residential release.

You can expect a little bit of extra traffic on your way into the estate as our team ramps up this activity, but we promise it will all be worth it. As residents, you will always get the first sneak peak of any new projects we are working on for the Hidden Valley community.

In the meantime, we hope you enjoy this newsletter with more detail on what’s happening in the Valley. It’s going to be an adventure!

Community Garden Under way

Our team have kicked off work on the Community Garden, with the aim of having the first produce ready for Christmas dinner!

This are will serve as home base for our Rangers and will also accommodate the mountain biking club when the first trails open.

Marlow to begin work in July

The paperwork is done and the fun part is about to begin. You can expect to see machines arrive to site over the next month to begin work on delivering the next thirty lots.

We aim to have most of the heavy lifting complete before the start of the next wet season.

Contour Works on their way

The trail building team from Contour Works will be arriving to site in July to start work on the first mountain bike and walking trails.

We are aiming to have the first trails ready for Christmas and are working with Ride Whitsundays and the local mountain biking club to make sure we build something pretty special.

MEET THE RANGERS

Caring for Country | Sharing Culture | Inspiring the Future

Meet the Rangers of Twin Creeks

There’s something truly special growing alongside The Garden — and it’s not just the veggies.

We’re incredibly proud to introduce Alfred, Casey and Manny as our first Twin Creeks Indigenous Rangers, the first of its kind in theWhitsundays region. After years of collaboration with the Gia Ngaro First Nations community and government partners across all levels, this groundbreaking initiative has officially launching right here in Hidden Valley!

What Is the Indigenous Ranger Program?

The Twin Creeks Rangers are part of a wider, government-supported initiative that employs more than 2,000 Indigenous Rangers across Australia. These rangers work to protect natural environments, care for country, and preserve cultural heritage sites — from rainforests to reefs, bushlands to beaches.

And now, they’re here in Hidden Valley, leading the way as guardians of our newcommunity garden and the “thousand acre playground” of Twin Creeks Eco Park.

GROWING MORE THAN JUST GARDENS

At Twin Creeks Eco Park, the Rangers will play a key role in shaping The Garden — not only planting and nurturing the land, but also mentoring others, hosting workshops, and sharing traditional ecological knowledge with locals and visitors alike.

This program creates meaningful career pathways for local Indigenous youth in fields like:

 Land management

 Conservation

 Horticulture

 Cultural fire practices

 Environmental education

It’s a space for learning, for healing, for sharing stories, and for building a more inclusive and empowered community.

Why It Matters

“When we connect with the land, we connect with each other. This program is about more than jobs, it’s about pride, purpose, and passing on knowledge that’s been nurtured for generations.”

The Rangers’ presence will bring depth, culture, and wisdom to everything we grow together in Hidden Valley.

Together, we’re not just building a garden, we’re cultivating a legacy.

July will see the first trail builders arrive on site, with Stage 1 delivering 11km of pure fun, climbing tracks, descending loops, and a main Trail Head in the beautiful Palm Creek Valley.

 Beginner-friendly trails will weave past local waterfalls and the majestic Cathedral Fig Tree

 Intermediate loops will provide a little more adrenaline

 Adaptive MTB design means these trails will be inclusive for all abilities

 Shuttle access to the 257m high point = more fun, less uphill!

Future Plans? Even Better.

Stage 2 will expand the network further north with advanced wilderness rides and potential trail links to the Hidden Valley Caravan Tourist Park. And if that’s not enough...

 Dog friendly walking trails

 Shaded spectator-friendly rest areas

 Natural points of interest built into the ride like waterfalls and old-growth fig trees!
