HIGH DEMAND SHOWS RECORD SALE & LEASE FOR ROSEMOUNT 220 PETRIE CREEK ROAD, ROSEMOUNT
With demand at an all-time high for ownership, occupation and investment in Sunshine Coast properties, there has never been a better time to sell an industrial asset. The majority of enquiry is coming from expanding local businesses, but buyers from southern states are also relocating their businesses and investing in our growing region. Industrial property was already in high demand across many parts of the Sunshine Coast prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, due to limited land supply. The accelerated growth of online retail and the restructuring of many businesses, as well as the pressure on the construction industry, has increased demand once more for warehousing and logistics space. The owner of 220 Petrie Creek Road approached Emily and Christine to assist in selling the property, as they had sold the business they had operated for many years. The property was in rural zoning but had an approved use for steel manufacturing. Emily and Christine weighed up all options to decide the best strategy of sale to achieve the premium price for the sellers. Approaching steel manufacturers on the Ray White Northern Corridor database, they were able to secure a lease to a local engineering firm. The property suited the local firm perfectly and, in turn, we sold the property to an investor at a good return which maximised the seller’s return on investment.
