Emily had been assisting the owner in leasing vacancies that arose in the building over the last 8 years and had built a strong rapport with all of the tenants at the property. Due to this, it was important to both Emily and the owner that the buyer was going to be a great landlord for the tenants. To this end, it was decided that the tenants would be best served by the new owner being local to the Sunshine Coast with a genuine passion for the Nambour area. We had several offers on the property, primarily from interstate investors from Sydney and Melbourne. However, we took the extra time and Emily was able to hunt down a local buyer who was prepared to offer a premium price for the property. The purchaser understood the area and Emily was able to demonstrate the quality of the tenants and the uplift potential for the building.
