This Lebanon Junior High School production is directed by Sandra Offord with a cast of over 63 youth, ages 6 through 18. SEUSSICAL JR. was co conceived by Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty, and Eric Idle, and is based on the works of Dr. Seuss. With music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, the score is a wonderful Seussian mix of musical styles, ranging from Latin to Pop, Swing to Gospel, and R&B! Seussical Jr. will be an amazing show for the entire family. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. Pre sale ticket order forms are available at the school office. Saturday October 15th 11 am 1 pm Lebanon, Ohio October 7, 2011 – Join the cast of Alice In Wonderland at Chapters Pre Loved Books on Saturday October 15th from 11 am 1 pm. The public is invited to bring their families and friends to the Meet The Cast Party for a sneak preview live performance by the Cast of Alice In Wonderland. Children can enjoy a read a loud by cast members as well as take photos with the cast of characters including Alice, the March Hare, the Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat. Children are also encouraged to come dressed like their favorite Alice In Wonderland character.

Whether encountering Alice for the first time or the latest, the audience will follow her and the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole, leaving behind a perfect English summer’s day and ending up in Wonderland, where nothing is as it’s expected and where such whimsical characters as the March Hare, Mad Hatter and Cheshire Cat reside. Alice has been delighting audiences of all ages since the 1800s, one of those literary treasures that truly appeals to kids and adults alike because the child that first encountered Alice in books or movies or plays is alive and well in the grown up that encounters her again. For this performance, the songs from the well-known 1951 Disney classic will be featured plus a few others that are recognizable and updated them in a way kids will love. Some of the numbers from the movie include ‘The Golden Afternoon’ and ‘Painting the Roses Red.’

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL takes on a new, fresh life when it appears onstage. A younger generation has discovered the fresh, optimistic spirit of this infectious musical. Lebanon Junior High School Drama Club is proud to let their voices be heard, with a message that is not just for kids, but for everyone.
Disney’s High School Musical began as a made for television movie. It quickly became the one of the most watched events in TV history. In 2006, the show swept through the awards season, winning with the Emmy, Teen Choice, American Music, TV Critics and Billboards Music Awards. Two sequels followed, with a third on its way. The talented kids from High School Musical are now known by school aged kids across the world. Newcomers to High School Musical will delight in the upbeat music and dance. Fans of the show can experience new musical numbers, written just for the stage show. The story is much the same: Basketball jock Troy and “brainiac” Gabriella defy the odds in this 21st century Romeo and Juliet. As the couple battles for the lead in the school musical, the also have to face the toughest clique of all: the Theatre geeks. Come see what everyone’s been raving about: Disney’s High School Musical onstage at the Lebanon Junior High. It’s a show you never knew you would love!

LEBANON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Lebanon, Ohio October 12, 2012 – The Lebanon Junior High School Drama Club’s production of “CINDERELLA” has been cast and rehearsals are underway in preparation for November 16th and 17th. This musical production is based on the LJHS Drama Club’s production features a cast of volunteer performers ages 7-18 from the Lebanon Junior High School, Berry Intermediate and Donovan Elementary schools under the direction of Sandra Offord with musical direction by Nick Pelfrey.
The timeless fairy tale meets the magic of Disney in this adaptation of the treasured animated film. Poor Cinderella is endlessly mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, and denied a chance to go to the Royal Ball. With a little help from her mice friends, and a lot of help from her Fairy Godmother, Cinderella goes to the ball, meets the Prince, and falls in love!
