We’re everywhere on social media, come join us! Please be sure to LIKE all our pages and update your social media accounts to reflect your affiliation with William Raveis. Also, be sure to like and follow your local office social media accounts.

Visit Facebook.com and log into your account. Search @williamraveis in the search bar on Facebook to visit our company Facebook page & click LIKE! To update, go to the page, then on the left-hand side, click About. Scroll down and you will see options to change your page name if necessary, create a username (very important for tagging!) and change your office address & phone number.

Visit Instagram.com and log into your account. Search @williamraveis by tapping the magnify glass icon and typing it in. Then follow our main company account! In your profile on Instagram, tap Edit Profile. Here you can change your page name, user name, website, and bio. Add contact information as well. Tap Done. Start posting listings and Instagram stories immediately! Be sure all of your posts include the hashtag #WilliamRaveis!

Visit Linkedin.com and log into your account. On the top toolbar, click on “Me.” You will see your profile. Click on the pencil icon to edit your current position.

XVisit Twitter.com and log into your account. Search @williamraveis in the search bar and follow the company page! Click the icon on the top righthand corner with your profile picture. Slightly below it, click Edit Profile. Now you can edit your name, biography, profile and header photos, and more. (Formally known as Twitter)

APPFILES PROCEDURE

As a real estate sales associate with William Raveis Real Estate, you are required to provide your broker with copies of all contract related documents and disclosures within 24 hours of the documents being signed by your customer so the broker is aware of the transaction and can retain these documents in the broker’s records.

All documentation, including but not limited to: a sales contract, buyer agreement, listing contract, an amendment to a sales or listing contract, buyer or seller disclosures, William Raveis disclosures or other internal forms, escrow deposit receipt verification forms, commission verification forms, commission registration forms, closing statements, and any other document required by William Raveis Real Estate or which may require broker signature should be submitted electronically to through Appfiles using the simple two-step process below:

Step 1: Create a “Ready for Review” section in your customer Appfile. This is equivalent to creating a file folder to place your documents into so that management can readily locate the documents within your customer Appfile for review and/or signature; and

Step 2: Change the “File Type” of your customer Appfile to “Ready Listing Review”, “Ready Sales Contract Review” or “Closing & Commissions”, as applicable to the documents you are submitting. The “File Type” is written in green beneath the name of your customer Appfile.

To change the File Type, click on the blue box to the right of the File Type which says “change , ” then click the drop down arrow and select “Ready Listing Review,” “Ready Sales Contract Review”, or “Closing & Commissions” (as applicable) in the Office Inbox Section. Lastly, click the green button at the bottom to save the change to your File Type.

Once you have changed the File Type to “Ready Listing Review,” “Ready Sales Contract Review,” or “Closing & Commissions, ” as applicable to the documents you are submitting, your Management Team and Broker will be automatically notified that you have submitted a listing package, a sales contract package or closing documents to the Broker file for review, signature and/or processing of commission.

Helpful Reminders & Suggestions:

1. Please be sure the name of your customer Appfile includes the customer name and street address of the property.

2. Please be sure to open a new customer Appfile for each “transaction,” such as a listing or a sales contract, just as you would do with a physical file.

3. If you have a listing Appfile, create a separate Appfile for the sales contract file and “Link” the two files to facilitate transferring between them. All listing related documents (listing contract, disclosures and listing amendments) would be contained in the listing file, and only the sales contract related documents would be in the Sales Contract file.

4. Do not delete offers or counteroffers even if a final sales contract is never agreed upon. Change the file status to “Dead Offer,” but keep all records of the transaction in the customer Appfile.

5. Create an “update” to retain notes of your conversations with your customer, or to send an update to your team member, Administrative Manager, Sales Manager or Broker (but to do so you must select the checkbox for the appropriate individual).

6. Identify and organize contact information for all parties in the transaction for ease of reference and to import those data fields into documents or emails created in the Appfile. For example, once you insert the Seller’s name, Seller’s email address and the property address into the “File Information”, you can import some or all of this data into a listing contract or amendment, and the Seller’s email address would also be stored so you could select it when sending an email (without the need to retype it).

7. Blind copy “bcc” your customer Appfile by copying the “file mailbox” on all email communication external to Appfiles to retain all communication of your transaction in one centralized location in your customer Appfile.

8. Customer support is available through Appfiles by telephone or email should you have any problems or questions. Click the orange button on the top right hand side of your home screen.

9. There are several training videos available on the Appfiles home page which you can view by clicking on the green “Help” button at the top right hand side of your home page.
