ABOUT ME

I’m Raquel Bernal, currently a student of 3nd year of Interior Design at ESDA. Since I was very young I have been enthusiastic about everything related to the world of art and design. I studied Artistic Baccalaureate in the School of Art of Zaragoza, after finishing it I decided to direct my professional career towards the field of Interior Design.

The project is based on the realization of a house from scratch, consisting of three floors and an outdoor garden. This house has been conceived in detail to accommodate the spatial needs of the client.

The project is based on the realization of a house that had to fit in the required measures of 10m x 10m.

The project is based on the realization of a house from scratch, where the concept of interior nature predominates, trying to incorporate nature both inside and outside the house, through a game of volumes and spaces that manage to generate a unique design.

BEYONCÉ'S STUDIO HOME

A major housing project - studio. Residential project.

02 HOME

In this project we have sought to generate a coherent and adequate space for the specific needs of this peculiar client; Beyoncé.

IIn this project the main objective was to question the standard measures of conventional houses, in order to generate a project designed for people who are out of the norm.

The house consists of 10 floors; service spaces, recording studios and a long etcetera, in order to achieve the comfort of the user.

So the house is aimed at Pau Gasol, a former Spanish basketball player.

The project is based on the design of the studio apartment for the famous and iconic singer Beyoncé.

The house is made up of 10 floors where all the needs and tastes of the client are covered.

02 CONTRACT

The Congress building of the Zaragoza Trade Fair has undergone a renovation of the interior environment of the spaces prior to the Congress Hall: double height Hall, cafeteria, VIP room, press room and the different congress rooms and public toilets on the first floor and second floor.

Redistribution and construction of a space.

For the distribution of the space, a radi cal and innovative solution has been proposed, which gives a modern vision to the congress pavilion.

The aim was to extrapolate the idea of the arches to the rest of the project in a drastic way.

The resolution and distribution raised, revol ves around the concept of contrast and the revo lutionary, betting on a total connection of space and the concept defended.

This project aims to create a warm and welcoming environment for the students of the University of LABA in Brescia.

The importance of green spaces and contact with nature in an industrial city is fundamental.

TThe objective of this project was to generate a cooperative and multifunctional space for the University of LABA.

For this purpose, a cohesive space has been generated separating the leisure and relaxation area with the study and library area.

The generated areas are: Reception area + bulletin board, lounge area, study area + library, food area and food preparation area + bar.

The project is based on the intervention and redistribution of a commercial space based on retail sales.

It focuses on the commercialization of high-end products for the kitchen, of great exclusivity and luxury.

The project consists of the creation of a retail commercial space dedicated to designer homeware and products of great exclusivity and luxury.

The project has been conceived as an open and diaphanous space that connects some areas with others through the routes and partial separators.

The treatment of lights and shadows, the materials chosen, the furniture and the atmosphere generated, all manage to transport the user to a new sensory experience.
