Website Traffic, Website Ranking, And The Great Paid / Free Traffic Dilemma Heya everybody I'm tossing back and forth a few different ways of approaching this topic with you. I know this will be very sensitive. As it stands now you've purchased e-books, Attempted to follow courses, And have come to many crossroads in the start-up of your online business.

And in my experience I am sure you've come to some confusion in the area of traffic. For those of you who are stumbling across this, traffic would be the visitors to your web presences and sales pages. Most of you have heard of a concept called free traffic. Many of you have heard of a concept called Paid traffic. Most of you who've heard of paid traffic are afraid to use it.

So in order to begin this report let me give some background information. The concept that you most likely have, due to fear, is that "free" traffic is the best way to start your online endeavor. This is most likely because you believe if you could start your business without any


initial investment that your business will be better off. This unfortunately is a fallacy. To try and sum up a lot of concepts quickly -proper promotion is the ability to present your product -to a wide enough audience -in a short enough amount of time -to get accurate information about that audience -without breaking your budget. The problem with using free traffic tactics is that you will never be able to gain enough information about your audience within a reasonable time frame. (ultimately you need money to live on as a entrepreneur running a small business, so if you can spare the coffee money to invest in your business today, you'll want fairly fast returns so you'll have money to eat again sooner than later. [but dont forget it's ALL an investment in your business from the beginning if you're set up correctly]) Because of this it is better to use a Paid traffic method at the beginning of your business site so that you can -gather information -and determine feasibility -as soon as possible -while you potentially still have money in reserve. Now assuming of course that you have your entire sales funnel setup. We're going to explore a new reality that you may not have been aware or that you may be wrestling with yourself. That reality is that while paid traffic is faster free traffic is actually much higher quality. The major drawback to Paid traffic, although there are few, is that Paid traffic stops immediately when you stop paying. Because it stops, you must generally pay significantly for all mistakes. What I'm saying is that every time you want to find something out about your market it will generally cost you 5 to 10 dollars that will quickly disappear forever after those exact number of people see the ad. Free traffic on the other hand typically comes from sources that will hang around on the Internet forever. The main problem with free traffic is the Time it takes for the creation and distribution of content which takes away from the running of business. However we are all fortunate because if you have been following my train of thought I think it has


become obvious that what we should be investing in is Paid "free" traffic! Paid "free" traffic is how you get the word out there, cover all your bases, and you do it in a way that keeps people coming in to your business into perpetuity. So there you have it that's all we need to do right? oh you need an example? OK well let's discuss something that cost me money to find out. This way you won't say our time wasn't valuable. :) We all know that YouTube is a great place to post the videos so that people will be able to find information about our business. And any of us who actually created a YouTube video also knows that there is a very good chance that no one will ever see your video if all you do is upload it. Which brings up the topic of ranking your video in Google and YouTube search. So in the vein of Paid "free" traffic here is what you do: After posting your video on YouTube you would head over to fiverr.com. You would search for video views.

Set it to highest rating. And search down the list for a seller who offers many many real video views and perhaps other perks like video likes and or comments. You then do a search on fiverr for “video comments�. Again look for the highest rating and choose a seller with perks.


The combination of these additional views comments and likes will help you to rank to your video in both Google and YouTube. In order for that to work of course you need to have your keywords description and tags all correct.

By using this Paid "free" traffic technique you now have a longstanding piece of information about your business that will bring visitors for time to come. Now I don't go for the SEO thing and YouTube ranking is a good technique... but in order to replace paid traffic such as Facebook PPC (which can deliver your message in front of hundreds in a day for as little as $5.00) the Paid Free traffic method needs to cover more ground than just that one media.
