A very pleasant day for each and everyone of you. It is my beautiful privilege to welcome all of you to this colourful event. Thank you for being with us today. On behalf of our Oriental Music Society, I sincerely thank and acknowledge everyone of you who extended us help to making this event a grand success. I would like to extend a warm welcome to our Principal Rev. Fr. Araliya Jayasundara, the Vice Principal Mr. Krishanthan Anthony Daas, the Co-Vice Principal Mr. Ananda Marasinghe, Prefect of Games Mr. Shane de Silva, for the guidance and support given to us in numerous ways, to make this musical show ‘mrmqrl werUqu’ a reality.

We are fortunate to have such an enthusiastic, committed and talented Master in-charge to drive us towards making this event remarkable, Mr. Chamila Maddegoda; And my teachers, please accept our heartfelt gratitude and thank you for believing in us. It gives me immense pleasure to welcome the Old Boys who are here with us today to make this occasion more colourful by guiding us. The support and encouragement of the parents throughout the entire event was truly remarkable; they stood by us like rocks. I am more than happy to welcome you all to this wonderful evening. And I am delighted to welcome my fellow Trinitians to this occasion.

We are proud to present you, with ‘mrmqrl werUqu’ which is organised by the newly appointed committee. As we are all aware, events of this nature reduce stress and helps boost mental health. The Oriental Music Society believes that ‘mrmqrl werUqu’ is a great opportunity for you. The show also marks the reunion of our Society and appreciate the support given by the teachers and our parents. Thank you once again for being here with us and I hope you will enjoy the hard work of the students, children and my dear brothers had put into this program.
