A table top sized sculpture that symbolizes the importance of an optimistic approach to what lies ahead.The ‘Hope Bird’ stands proud and straight with a dynamic watch-out position toward the horizon, inviting us to reflect on the importance of staying positive to what the future may bring.

“Isole” è una famiglia di forme, con una strana estetica originata da un pianeta immaginario, costituito da isole isolate. Questi vasi sono tutti basati su strutture asimmetriche, composte da un fondo e da una parte superiore che creano un effetto di luci distintivo, in un singolo pezzo monocolore. Da soli o assieme, essi sono creati per dipingere un paesaggio e onorare la natura, essi offrono un palcoscenico alle piante e ai fiori che stanno aspettando di ricevere. “Isole” is a family of forms, with a strange aesthetic that originate from an imaginary planet, constituted by isolated islands.These vases are all based on an asymmetrical structure, composed of a bottom part and upper part- creating a distinctive light effect, in a single mono-colour object. Alone or together , they are created to portray a landscape and pay homage to nature, by offering a stage to the plants and flowers they are waiting to receive. C’è un mondo magico e misterioso che ci viene in mente quando osserviamo queste bellissime creature, le uniche ad avere grandi occhi frontali come noi esseri umani. Gufi e civette sono nell’immaginario della maggior parte delle civiltà del pianeta considerate un simbolo di saggezza, intelligenza e strabiliante bellezza. Mi sono apparse in sogno così, come ve le riporto, nella speranza di rinnovare la loro straordinarietà, la loro eleganza, e perché no, il loro aspetto di portatori di fortuna. There is a magic and mysterious world which comes to mind when we look at these beautiful creatures.They are the only ones with big front eyes as the humans. SLICE
Design: Michela Catalano “Slice” è un orologio da parete dall’aspetto moderno e curioso, adatto ad integrarsi in qualsiasi ambiente. Il movimento delle lancette crea un motivo, una decorazione a contrasto con il fondo e in costante cambiamento; in divenire. Ogni secondo è diverso dall’altro, l’immagine non è più la stessa e il tempo corre. Una lancetta per i secondi scorre separatamente ed esternamente delineando il contorno della scocca. Slice is a modern and funny wall clock, suitable to integrate into any environment. The hand movement creates a motive, a decorative contrast with the background changing constantly and, evolving. Up here, on the roof, closer to the stars, the sky and the clouds wich sometimes look like us. A metà tra oggetto e profumo. Half è un diffusore di profumo che gioca, con estrema semplicità, sui contrasti. Lucido e opaco, liscio e ruvido, chiaro e scuro, colore e non colore. Sarà facile, per ognuno di noi, trovare il proprio equilibrio.
Halfway between object and perfume. “Half ” is a perfume diffuser which plays with extreme simplicity on contrasts: shiny and matt, smooth and rough, light and dark, colour and uncoloured. It will be easy for everyone to find its own equilibrium.

Le cose preziose hanno bisogno di protezione, di un guscio, una scocca, che le difenda. Aura è strutturalmente un volume d’aria, una boccetta immaginaria il cui contenuto è una fragranza fluida in evaporazione. La struttura esterna protegge lo stantuffo centrale, il delicato cuore dell’oggetto che impulsa la circolazione del profumo attraverso la porosità della ceramica. Every precious thing needs protection; a shell, a case which keeps it safe. Aura is an imaginary bottle whose content is the essence of a fragrance, dispelled through evaporation.The external structure protects the central element, the delicate heart of the object that allows the circulation of perfume via the porosity of the ceramic. LITTLE INDIANS Design: Giovanni Motta
Little Indians è una famiglia di Momonsters. Sono quattro piccoli personaggi legati ad una storia particolare. White Plume, Light green Stone, Cerulean Reflection, Purple Puff Sono le anime di quattro bambini indiani Navaho che decisero di donare le loro anima in cambio della verità e della saggezza. Camminarono fino alla fonte del San Juan (affluente del fiume Colorado) e si gettarono tutti insieme nelle sue fredde acque. Lo spirito dell’ Acqua li accompagnò nel loro viaggio e li accontentò esaudendo alla loro richiesta. Ancora oggi giocano e nuotano felici ed è possibile sentirli semplicemente tuffandosi nelle acque del grande fiume Colorado. Little Indians is a family of Momonsters. They are 4 little characters tied to a particular story. White Plume, Light green Stone, Cerulean Reflection, Purple Puff They are the souls of four Indians Navaho children who decided to give their spirits in exchange for the truth and wisdom. They walked to the San Juan source ( a tributary of the Colorado river) and they fell together in the cold waters. TheWater spirit accompanied them on their journey and appeased them fulfilling their request. Even today if you dive in the waters of the great Colorado river you can hear the four children play and swim happy.

TOOWOOMBA

Toowoomba è un Momonster dedicato ad un bimbo Australiano e alla sua storia incredibile.Toowoomba si gettò nelle acque fredde dell’alluvione per recuperare suo fratello più piccolo. Dopo essersi tuffato, riuscì a raggiungerlo e insieme si salvarono perché riuscirono ad aggrapparsi ad una conigliera che galleggiava poco distante.Il piccolo Toowoomba lottò e nuotò con vigore e, instancabile, riuscì a restare a galla per ore prima di raggiungere la terra ferma. Toowoomba is a Momonster dedicated to an Australian boy and his incredible story. Toowoomba dived in the cold waters of the flood to save his younger brother. He joined him and together they clung to a rabbit house floating nearby. The little Toowoomba struggled and swam vigorously and tirelessly, he remained afloat for hours before reaching land. GM/TWB
