Restful Reveries
BY RAFAEL VALENCIA

AS I WAKE
And there I sat waiting, with thoughts still raging, carrying heavy burdens, through countless hurdles.

I shut them all out, all the people around me.
Wanting to back out, I want to break free.
But there I saw Him in the midst of the grim. And unto him I prayed. Guide me through the day.
DEPARTURE
As I exited the back gate for one last moment, my heart heavy in weight, my thoughts all silent.
The sun beamed bright with the January cold. It was a peaceful sight with memories of old. In beginning our journey the bus engine hissed. The morning still early, this place will be missed.

HAVEN
Far away from the city, my soul filled with glee. The weather quite chilly, nature set to revive me! It’s been quite awhile since I could touch grass. Couldn’t help but smile, finally done with class! Now here I stand tall in my final retreat. Despite through it all, one last to complete.

REFECTION
In my most honest opinion, I don’t think anything beats a long day of reflection that starts with good eats.
Seated in front of this meal, I close my eyes and pray. With both joy and zeal, Thank you Lord for this day!

TWO OR THREE We gathered together that day in His holy house of prayer. Our hearts out on display, with God as the center.
Praise unto His name! We let Him hear our Cries. His blessings we claim. His words noble & wise. Through service we love, and through passion we find, our duty from above, for the good of Mankind.

DILATIONEM
As I am fenced by shadows and all is said and done, I bid the day to a close.
Good night everyone.

REDEMPTORY
A new day is birthed even before the sunrise.
Ardent with mirth, I look up to the sky. You’re still just progressing. Thank God for the blessing, if given more chance of life to enhance. With wisdom to spare, my soul is well fed. Under God’s care, ready for life ahead.

LIVE JESUS IN OUR HEARTS... FOREVER!
