A professional integrated design expert, architect, urban planner and senior project manager with a master’s degree in design theory and a talent to create well integrated designs and world class projects. Raed has 28+ years of progressive career working with public and private sectors on a wide range of architectural and urban design projects as well as construction supervision. As a visionary and conceptual designer Raed worked with award-winning architects including Dr. Abdel Halim Ibrahim and Dr. Rasem Badran. He worked also with leading companies and interdisciplinary engineering firms in the region. He successfully participated as main designer in more 30+ design competitions and delivered 70+ projects of different types including mixed use developments, high-rise buildings, residential, commercial, healthcare, educational, master planning, urban design and city branding. Raed has a considerable experience in leading multi-disciplinary design teams, design review, project management and client representation services. As a scholar in the field of contemporary Arab architecture and urbanism, he published in 2009 his first book about the evolution of identity and self-representation in Arab architecture and its relation to Orientalism under the title: "Orientalism in Arab Architecture -(‫واﻟﮭﻮﯾﺔ‬

Successfully led project management team of Abu Dhabi Headquarters projects at Musanada (Government of Abu Dhabi).

Assigned as a program coordinator to follow up the contracts of the international PMCs (Parsons & AECOM) working with the Musnada -government of Abu Dhabi- on 3.5 billion USD projects portfolio.

As project management officer (PMO), successfully led team of project managers and work in coordination with contractors and led design teams to deliver projects including fast track design build projects, mixed use developments and hospitals.

As part of project management team scope, successfully performed technical design review tasks for the design amounting to 5 billion USD prototype projects for the Ministry of Interior in KSA.

Successfully developed the masterplan of many important urban areas in the region like Sidon city/Lebanon, the lagoons and the heritage area of Sharjah /UAE and the central sea front area in Aqaba/Jordan

Successfully participated in generating development strategies and creating business opportunities as a design projects director in the business leaders group at Dar Al Omran

Successfully led design teams and delivered the full design package of high rise buildings like the CMC hospital in Al Abdali –Jordan and the Al Zamil office towers in Bahrain with total built up area of 30,000m within 70 days. 2

Pioneer in incorporating sustainability principles and green architecture considerations in the design of public buildings in Jordan like Abu Obaidah mosque in 1995-1997 and German Jordan university (GJU) 2007.
